i'm taking this retirement with a pinch of salt I don't blame him one bit for saying it and taking a break but I do think he will return simply because he loves doing it.
I don't care if he returns ,Because i know him and his family are content and loving life if he doesn't ,with money in the bank ..I wouldn't if i was him ,Just saying 🤷♂️Love you Lee mate ,And thanks for making me laugh endlessly/and slightly piss myself at times 🤷♂️over the years 😁👍Enjoy whatever you are doing mate, Lifes to short

I'd say he's much bigger than Jimmy Carr. The sheer time, planning, creativity and effort that Lee put into his shows is clearly nothing short of gargantuan. He always gave 150%, and certainly went out in style. He is also 10 years older than Jimmy, and nearly 20 years older than Jason Manford. Don't forget Lee did all the smaller venues for decades before he got to where he did! Nevertheless, he is greatly missed. I hope we see him again.
