Kelz Lee wow I just listened this yesterday and I had to asked for the name so I could listening on RU-vid I am not American but this made me tears 😭 a lot respect ✊🏿 for all the veterans who died for America
In this video....you can see the 3rd person..from the right is trying to hold back his tears....that's exactly how I feel....God bless all the veterans...living and deceased who fought to preserve our freedom!!!!
The gentleman standing behind Lee over his left shoulder can hardly control his emotions as the song is being sung. I know just how he feels I get the same way every time I hear this song. Thank you for this song.
I have family who have fought back to the American Revolution, and we’re still serving today! My family have never missed a single war that America has been in, if you can name it they have been there! I’ll soon commission into the Air Force to do Medical work, and after 25 years of service, I’ll go into the medical field and continue to serve my community, and nation with pride!
As always, this is the perfect song for Veterans Day from Lee Greenwood. The gentleman in the black shirt behind Greenwood and to his left was having a hard time controlling his emotions. God bless these wonderful veterans and God bless this particular gentleman, and God bless Lee Greenwood, and God bless all those serving and who have served in our military.
Exactly. Probably had some of his brothers died in action. I never served myself, but have a hard time controlling my emotions now because it mean so much to be an America. People take freedom for granted all the time. Until you lose freedom, like other countries, you will not appreciate the sacrifice these soldiers gave to make sure we didn't lose freedom. God Bless the military and their families!
Indeed! great song great country, if I may I wish, America won't only fight for freedom in the middle east but also here in latin America, Venezuela is kidnapped by narco regime, Hopefully the American armed forces one day will stand with people of their neighbor country and bring freedom to my country of birth... God bless American Troops, God bless America!
Trump Victory, Marine Corps Birthday yesterday, and an amazing Veteran's Day today. People are thanking me for my service, but I'm thanking everyone instead for being so wonderful.

Lee Greenwood your song "I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN" is the most beautiful patriotic song ever written. IT TOUCHES billions HEARTS AND SOULS and united a country, when played for huge crowds. The words in this song was only given to you by the Almighty GOD to have an impact on America forever. Lee we love your loving soul for giving us so much hope, love and peace. President Trump knew the lyrics were the right words in this dark time for America and its existence. President Trump is a good man the best President ever. GOD bless you and your family.
He sings it on so many different occasions but you can tell he never gets tired of it and changes it up each and every time, always making it sound beautiful
