Fans coming out with some stupidity at times? I'd say it's way more than 'some' . You only have to read some of the comments on this page further down :) On Reddit, I was the only 1 who commented about us having a chance at Burnley, especially after Southampton's draw at Arsenal. just like that game, we were never behind :)
what about the youth stealing food in tescos while on a break from training, i suppose that does not matter that our youth are thieves and have no morals
Great interview, good questions and very good answers. Feel for him a lot as he's trying his best with a very difficult and challenging situation (we all know QPR aren't straightforward, one of the smallest grounds etc) i wanna be his friend :/
Interesting to hear Lee Hoos' perspective of realism on QPR,s expectations. Reassuring that Chair and Willock are viewed as potential talent and will therefore be playing for the club next season. I sincerely hope that it works out for Ainsworth and hope we do not witness the winter malaise and exhaustion which happens time and time again, dragging us down the table. At least Lee Hoos conveys a hope of optimism .for 2024.....
Remodel the South Africa road stand so it is one tier and then move the executive boxes to the lower school end. Remodel the corner seating. This would surely increase the capacity 🤷🏻♂️
Interesting to hear QPR were/ are appointing their own Stewards I started at QPR as a Steward in the Mid 60s and became their Hesd/Chief Steward until I left in 1996 As far as I know the only QPR stewards employed were Tom Hyatt and Mick Kelvins both looked after the disabled areas If Mr Hoos is interested to discuss how we carried out the stewarding back then, I am available and can be contacted
I'm dumbstruck at the response to the Mick Beale question. At some level, Hoos and Ferdinand have to take responsibility for the abject failure to keep a manager at the club for more than three months. Why would you hire a manager who at the very least wouldn't commit to being here for a full season? Why would you negotiate such a low release clause that when we do lose him we have no funds to replace him adequately? Our season went completely off the rails once Beale left and two reactive managerial appointments have left us at the door of relegation. If losing Beale so early in the season was a potential outcome then those responsible for hiring him should have had a Plan B in place.
"Why would you hire a manager who at the very least wouldn't commit to being here for a full season?" What do you mean? The release clause is typical in managerial contracts at this level - and indeed at non-elite clubs, even elite clubs have to put up with release clauses these days if the Real Madrid's of this world come in for them... As he said, if we reject Beale's request to go to Rangers then you have a different problem on your hands, keeping someone in charge that you - and everyone else - know does not want to be there. It was only a slim possibility that Beale would leave before the end of the season, he was committed for the season until Rangers came in for him - he did turn down Wolves after all. Our season went off the rails after Wolves came in for him, not after he left. Critchley was not a bad hire on paper, he fit the bill and looked like he might end up being a decent appointment. As it was, he didn't work out and so they felt like they had to get rid of him and bring in someone else. Whether Ainsworth was the right guy is another conversation, bearing in mind the contrast in playing styles, but I do not think you can really blame the board for the Beale situation. On the other hand, getting rid of Warburton.... Thing is a lot of this analysis is all in hindsight, no one was complaining about Beale when we were top and looking like we were going to challenge for promotion.
With regards to the speaker system being hard wired……..leave the existing speakers in place for safety reasons but also install wireless speakers in addition.
I respect him to an extent - he wears his heart on his sleeve and puts himself out there. But he just doesn't have the answers. Spend £1m on getting in a strategy consultancy to look at QPR and how to sort it out. This guy just doesn't have the IQ
Broken record. “I have no idea about” & the constant deflection. Get this donkey out ! This is a PR disaster it may as well be scripted and this does not feel sincere at all.
Whoever asked the question about share values of a limited company, clearly either has a limited knowledge or has only just started to learn finance... a pointless question, shoudn't have been included.
