@@daphney2126 it's part 2. After part 1 end with 20 episode, there's gonna be another part where they dig deeper about the character history. Since it's a backstory so the 'real' Naksu will appear, not Mudeok. So part 1 which is currently airing is the present story while part 2 is the past story. That's why we wouldn't see Mudeok or Jung Somin in part 2.

Honestly, one of the reason why I'm so hooked with this drama is bcoz of Somins chemistry with all of the guys. Like, I don't even mind if whoever she's going to end up with. But then they replaced Somin in S2 which is so heartbreaking. 🥺

Honestly if Jung SoMin doesn't come back for Season 2 then the overall vibe of the show is going to take a /big/ hit. She has amazing chemistry with JaeWook, MinHyun, and SeungHo and that's truly veeeeeery rare to find. Chemistry is just one of those things you cannot work around. You either have it or you don't, and this cast has it in spades.

It's good to see jung so min with other co actors. But it's really heart wrecking knowing that she won't in part 2. These producers really worst i have ever seen in k or c dramas. Atleast others kill female main lead at the end but they try get rid of her in the middle. Moreover what the funny thing is they are going to skip a week in the name increase effectiveness wtf they just try think how to kill mudeok's character more effectively so that part 2 will more exciting 😂😂. But 😡🤬 I'm done with this drama. The weeks past I'm getting irritating instead of interesting. I just going Boycott Alchemy of Souls part 2 for sure. I don't want to see any other in her place. And i hope Jung so min soon come up with new drama and I'm waiting for it with whole heartedly. So just leave that AOS team they don't deserve to cast you. See you in other drama 👍✌️🇮🇳.

Part 1 (season 1) will have 20 episodes, and Part 2 (season 2) is presumed to have around 7 to 8 episodes and it is said that naksu (the original actress) will come back to her own body (her og body is burned so idkh) and there are lots of strong clues that mudeok is the eldest daughter of the Jin family. So there doesn't seem to be any space for somin if both the souls go back to their original bodies. I hope they don't go down this route. Like everyone is already so attached to somin playing both naksu & mudeok that it wouldn't feel the same seeing the same characters being played by other actresses. She has lots of chemi with all the male characters so I hope she stays until the end.

Also all the boys are in love with Naksu with Mudoek's face( yul is the only one who love Naksu with her OG face) it will feel empty if they separate them and unfair for Uk, Mudoek and Naksu. I don’t think they will make Mudoek blind again. I have a feeling that they merge both Naksu & Mudoek into one.

Excited for this drama because of Jung So Min and she plays the character Mu Deok so well. And alchemy of soul is about Mu Deok, Jang Uk, Seo Yul and Prince. Without Mu Deok, the story is nothing ㅠㅠ the story about Naksu is enough, we need a long story explain about the real Mu Deok please, Jung So Min did so great and her acting is another level

I just started watching Alchemy of Souls like last week and I’m already on Part 2: Episode 1. I’ve fallen so in love with Hwang Minhyun. The song “Just watching you” moves me every time I hear it. My heart strings get pulled every time. I was rooting more for him and Jung So-min to end up together😭😭 Also Naksu was such a badass!!! I really loved her character

So-min have great chemistry with everyone! I’ve liked her since playful kiss. Just saw the ep10 and I’m actually rooting for Nak-Su to be with Yul so So-min (Muduk) ends up with Jae-wook (Uk). But she can also end up with the Seung-ho (crown prince).

Jeawook is very charming. Sometimes he looks more good looking than Minhyun. He has strong yet kind looks (like a Hero/protagonist type), and his acting is soo good/super cool. I understand now why he is the lead actor in this drama. I hope there will be Innso and Arin content with them. I thought they were also lead actors . 'Will definitely follow their works. Please don’t compare. MinHyun is known for his pretty face. But Jeawook has been building a pretty solid base with his great range of acting. Although he is not the typical pretty face but he is charming, he has the ability to merge you into his character.Jung UK is the closest to Wook's personality,very loveable and likeable and cute. I acknowledge Minhyun's beauty but I levitate towards JaeWook all the times.
