Felix is just a softie for everyone.

Felix and Bang Chan are Australian actually not Korean. I mean I guess you could call them Australian-Korean. I believe they originally had duo-citizenship in Australia and Korea but when it comes to the military they had to choose which citizenship they wanted as I think Korea now only lets you have 1 nationality. I think Chan and Felix both chose Australia but not entirely sure. If they go to the military in Korea they probably chose Korea but if they don't, they chose Australia. Chan knew some Korean before he moved to Korea for JYPE but wasn't completely fluent. However, Felix knew 0 Korean when he came to Korea and was pretty much lost. He had to learn from scratch and some BTS of videos showed him pouring over Korean textbooks and trying to learn Korean as fast as possible. The other members tried to help him by teaching him Korean through games and other things too. Chan took him under his wing to help him as they are both Australian and their first language is English, so they bonded like brothers so fast. Chan even said, "I know what it's like to be in a foreign country where you don't really know what people are saying as I wasn't fluent in Korean when I came either and it's quite lonely. I didn't want Felix to feel the same way, so I'm always there for him to help him out."
