Matt robertson was suppose to be running ballistic this year as well but on one of his recent insta posts he was wrapping another triton. Some one commented, " i thought you were running a ballistic this year" to which matt responded " so did i " . I wonder whats going on over at ballistic

🍺”NO…WAY!!” …Unless Lee committed a inexcusable unmoral act and they choose not to go public something don’t smell right. Their timing is totally unacceptable and down right infuriating . Livesay and G-man are two of my favorite anglers and they have a loyal following. This will cost Ballistic unless they publicly defend their actions. I will not be buying one and I’m telling this story to my friends.🤛

100% unacceptable! I know you have to be careful nowadays with defamation lawsuits, but I think people need to know about companies who pull this garbage. This literally could have ruined his season or at least the first couple of events. He should definitely lawyer up for damages occurred and be allowed to publicize his experience so that something like this won't/can't happen again in the future regardless of the manufacturer(s)! Given that these boats cost more than a small house (before inflation) people should/need to know a companies reputation before moving forward with such a purchase. Good luck this season Lee. I would like to say more, but dissing someone in a public forum is not my style. I've seen a lot of folks make a great product but their business sense sent them down a rabbit hole.

In my opinion, this all unfortunately makes Ballistic Boats look bad. I don't think Livsay did anything over the top to make this look any worse than it does beyond the facts, and when you think about him in a basic sense he IS one of the most marketable guys in the pro game right now with all the success he's had in the last few years. It's no wonder that other companies are going to come to his aid, because he'll represent them well (at least that's what his history shows). And the timing of it all makes one thing apparent--communication is important. Imagine if he got a deal two weeks prior to it all going down, what would his boat sponsor say to that? He wouldn't have done it because it would've been wrong. I think I read somewhere that they only made like 22 boats last year, which is obviously not good. At the very least they could have said something to the guy considering that he's competing for a living

I know he has a finished boat just a few days ago... but I have heard some stories about things being on the rocks with them.

Everything happens for a reason man. Shitty deal, yes but think about the support and such if you were to continue. Sounded like it was a shady biz anyway. Might have gotten worse. This move will benefit you and like DM says, the biggest FU to them will be when you win those Ts this year as well as go down in the record books WITH a different boat brand. Best of luck to ya!

How are they supposed to get other pros to run the boat when they know they hung Lee out to dry 2 weeks before a season. So if I’m pro I’m not doing a deal in fear of that happening to me. So who promotes the boats then? And there in lies the downward spiral of Ballistic in 2023

That is so foul.. two weeks before a guy season kicks off You Yank the boat out from under him.. that really shows you what kind of people are running ballistic. I personally would have went with a new blazer versus the Phoenix but that's just my personal opinion.. I'm glad that he was able to piece that horrible situation together in time and was able to get into a Phoenix and was able to get everything rigged and wrapped and ready to go in time, but I couldn't imagine the freak out headaches that situation caused two weeks before he supposed to hit the road.. wow you really showed everybody where your loyalties lie when somebody's out there representing your brand and kicking ass and taking names and then you pull a boat out from under them right before their season starts when you've got something in play for them to have their boat months and months and months before and you yank the deal 2 weeks before he supposed to get it.. wow 👏👏👏 way to show everybody what brand stay away from.. right after dude just had a kid, A major win and a phenomenal season in their boat and they're going to do that to him and his family with no warning until two weeks before he has to be ready to fish with the biggest names in the sport.. freaking WOW!

He made a very over priced boat... Just get a Ranger 520R you'll be ok. Does everyone who is a Pro need all these sponsors, to fish? How did you lose money? I say let your fishing speak for you. If professional fishing isn't viable to raise a family etc. Get a real job, I say or make the payouts bigger or real sponsors ante up more money. It's only a multi billion dollar industry. ( MULTI BILLION)
