Lee was an incredible actor. He could 'steal' scenes from the best. His intensity, both as a cool character and as an uncool one, is unmatched. Thanks for sharing!
Can't beat Lee Marvin either as a good guy or a bad guy. The Big Red One is an excellent WW2 movie. Attack is often overlooked but is a fine film (one irony of that movie is that Eddie Albert plays a coward but in real life he won the Bronze Star at Tarawa saving wounded Marines). I can hardly think of a Marvin film I didn't enjoy.
The Killers (1964) is the second remake of Ernest Hemingway's 1927 short story of the same name. Lee Marvin is a main character in this. Won't give away too much of the serpentine but suspenseful plot, but look for Ronald Reagan as a crime lord!
