Outstanding video! Have a Pro 1000 setup for 9mm, and have loaded 1000’s of rounds. This press has many small parts & pieces, including springs! When it works, it works well. When it doesn’t work, it becomes very frustrating! Videos like this are extremely helpful for people like myself!! Keep up your great work!
Good to see that you have a New Lee Pro 1000. I raised my loader up to where the handle is about my shoulder hight. I used a spring on my auto disk to carriage and got rid of the chain.
Awesome content..I had the same issues and wish I would have watched this video...I was actually using a screwdriver to un wedge the shell plate from departing...I finally found the set screw...lol😆👍👍
About your cases bouncing on the feeder ramp... I found that a little light oil under the ramp helps. On the left and right underside pushing segment so that you will not get oil on empty cases
I've had every single issue you describe here, and fixed them in pretty much the same way. Currently trying to figure out why my primer case sensor isn't working right. (Always lets a primer through).
Looks like you powder leakage also. I see bits on priming arns that may spark. My classic turret leaks also I need to plain or file down the aluminum part of the hopper
My biggest problem with reloading in general is that since I've been doing it, the damn ladies won't leave me alone. I don't know if they think it's super sexy or super cool, but they just can't keep hands off of me. I feel like a good looking woman walking by a construct site. I love it! YES MEANS YES!!
