Lee Roy Parnell is the king of the slide guitar. I use to sit in a bar in Austin, TX and watch him night after night. One of the greatest country music guitarists of his generation. Absolutely love his music.

VERY underrated guitarist. They used to call him the Eric Clapton of Nashville.

I was lucky enough to meet LRP at a casino concert in Sconnie a few years back! Very cool & gracious guy!! What a wicked guitarist!!! "Slow hand of Country"!! Chatted and signed my cd!!! Cheers!!!

Saw him play live at Billy Blocks in Nashville, he had the flu that night but, gutted it out and played a terrific show. Very underrated artist !
