So I know nothing about this series being related to anything, but I looked up Lee’s Detective Agency and realized I saw _one_ short animation before. _It says it existed 5 months ago but I swear I’ve seen it longer ago, unless I’m wrong…_ What’s Arknights?

There's also another anime that adapts the main story with a first season titled Prelude to Dawn, and an upcoming second season titled Perish in Frost. Lee's Detective Agency is a side story focusing on the side faction of the same name. If you decide to check the game out, here's a list of RU-vid channels you'll need to subscribe to. -KyoStinV: Arknights often requires a high IQ. You will get stuck on a level more than once. When you get sick of trying, or you're running out of time to milk everything out of the current event, this guy will tell you how to clear it with low rarity characters that are cheap to build. -Eckogen: Same as KyoStinV, but it's nice to have options. Personally, I prefer this guy, as he's better at getting to the point without stuttering or potentially needing you to translate anything through an Italian accent. -FrostByte262: A good source for character reviews and keeping up to date with upcoming content. -Box2: Honestly, not that great a person. He will insult your waifu, or find another way to deliberately tick you off, and there was this one April Fools prank he did in poor taste that made light of things like creator burnout and mental health issues. But this does give him bad karma, which makes his hilariously and epically awful gacha pulls a cathartic experience. -QaiserMLG: It's highly likely that you will decide to skip all the cutscenes. This game actually has really good story and worldbuilding, the problem is that it knows this and loves to hear itself talk. If you wanna know what exactly is going on, he's good for a sum up. Anything else, RU-vid will put in your recommendeds.

Meng has never been mentioned in lore for him until now

Meng is a brand new character to be introduced in Hung's backstory, up until now what we canonically know from his files is that Hung was constantly bullied in his previous job as a security guard by his coworkers due to him being too nice, and his operator records show how he met Lee (won't spoil in case ppl wanna have a look).

judging from the jobs they took together it most have been super shady, like cloak and dagger shady, no wonder he want to leave that kind of work.

Probably was a part of swords for hire or mercenaries

I didnt readed the logs of Hung, but I remember that in his introductions, he said that worked at some point in a security company if Im not mistaked. He could meet a pretty group of interesting people at a job like that.

He needs as much funds as he can get to stay deployed 😭

It is not that present in the game because of it being a gacha and gachable characters having plot armor unless the plot needs it, but oripathy is stated to be a terminal disease. So poor Meng does not have much time left.

@@Minecrayey no, it's more of a side show for Arknights(which is a tower defense mobile game) that explains stuff about some in-game characters(Aak, Hung, Waai fu and Lee to be exact)

Those aren’t reunion clothes cuz reunion was mostly in ursus while he was in yan at the time if the backstory

I'll spoil it ahead of time and let you know this is literally the first she's ever been mentioned.

@@MFDOOOOM It's a tower defense, one that gets pretty challenging at times. Ask about stultefirea navis and you'll get nothing put ptsd comments. But the gacha part is mostly negligible as most content can be completed with lower rarity units

@@MFDOOOOM gaccha elements won't annoy you but the game is a masterpiece in itself. Playing for more than 2 yr and it only takes few minutes to play and do the daily task and you are pretty much done for the day.

@@MFDOOOOM Haven't played it, heard it's one of the better Gacha games with more lean towards a Lore / TDS aspect.

Nah, more like he's just sad about his friend randomly beating up people and he couldn't handle her behavior anymore, even he has his limits. He looks happy with his new family now so this is all just a thing of the past

@@Anko3342 One of the symptoms of oripathy is that it can make you violent and not be able to distinguish friend from foe. That could be why she attack Hung in the flashback. However, it does seem that he still care for her, and I hope she gets help and they can be friends again.
