An interview with scratch is somewhere between attending a magical ritual and improvised performance art/poetry. There are so few holy magic people around these days, most people cannot recognise him for what he is.
He said in an interview he would pretend to be crazy to other people when sometimes he was insulted or handled as a crazy person, he would push it until the other person believes he is really crazy. I think he would act like that when the situation gets too serious. If somebody asks him something he doesn't want to talk about, he would not say "I prefer not to talk about it", he would take you the way he wants you to take. Probably he was a bit crazy too. But I mean, only a person who can think out of the box like he did can create what he created. Only someone who allows himself to play and explore the way he did, about so long ago, when using his recording studio as an instrument and his fantasy to create could leave such an important legacy.
