The major thing missing here is that Jesus requires repentance and baptism for the forgiveness of sins, so that the believer can walk in new life going forward. Why does the speaker not include this Jesus says this many times in the Bible.
The Way that you call path is walking in the Way of love revealed by the truth given acknowledging to in the gospel verse bearing witness to the truth you found as you repented by asking yourself: why do I do the sin or anger I do?
When Jesus said: I am the way, the truth, and the life; Jesus was stating the truth. God, or the force of Love that animates all of life; is the way, the truth, and the life. Jesus was not speaking personally about himself. What Jesus meant is that Love is the way to live, Love is the truth, and Love is the way to eternal life; not in the sense of heaven, but as a way to know yourself as the eternal being that you are. When you know yourself as Love, you know yourself as God. God, the I am that is within Jesus, is the same God that is within everyone. The spirit that is within Jesus is also within everyone. God is the same in everyone, and God's name is Love.
Where are you getting that perspective from? Not the Bible. Jesus was saying He(Jesus) is the only way to eternal life. That He is the only truth in a world of many different views and beliefs. That He IS life itself. Just as Jesus said "I am the resurrection and the life." That doesn't make sense for him to say He is the resurrection referring to the way to live.
@@philiplewandowski2469: The Love that is within Jesus is also within everyone. Love is our true nature as much as it is Jesus. That means that it is possible for us to Love as Jesus did. That was and is Jesus' message, not that we are sinners and that the only possibility for happiness is in heaven. Jesus came to earth to show us that it is possible to Love and to encourage us to do so. Jesus came to earth, not to bring Love and then leave, but to ignite the Love within us; to show us that we could be a Christ. It is our destiny to live as Love, and Jesus came to show us how to do that. That was and is the purpose of Jesus' teachings.

@@philiplewandowski2469: The teachings about original sin, sin in general, heaven and hell, God is a punisher and so many other false ideas; were inserted into the bible as a means for controlling us through fear and guilt, and keeping us within the structure of the church. If the church is telling us lies, and we're told that we'll go to hell if we don't believe those lies, then we're trapped in a detrimental belief system; which will make evolving spiritually much more difficult.

I agree with what you say Lee. However, what you say is 110% against the core teachings of Calvinism. I know Calvinists who bought into Calvinism so deeply that they sin horrific sins and justify it that they cannot change what was predestined. How can you reach someone who is a consistent Calvinist? And did you ever do an in-depth study on the core teachings of Calvinism like you did on the case for Christ? If yes could you send me the like to it Lee?

Jesus Was Born Incarnate Jesus was born incarnate to a young Jewish virgin, lived a sin free life, was illegally persecuted and then crucified on a cross on Calvary. He arose three days later defeating death and ascended into Heaven where He sits at the right hand of God.. Jesus met with 515 people after His resurrection in a dozen different occasions over a period of about 40 days before He ascended into Heaven. Jesus knew He was entering the world to be the final and ultimate sacrifice for the sin of mankind. His body had been divinely prepared by God specifically for that purpose. Jesus was going to die for the sins of the world, and He knew it. Moreover, He was doing it willfully and joyfully. Jesus came to earth to reveal God to mankind and teach truth. We are sinner from birth and need help, Jesus Christ is that help, our only hope. Therefore by the deeds of the law (Ten Commandments) no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law our sins are recognized not saved. We must confess (repent) of our sins and iniquities before Jesus Christ, at the foot of the cross daily. Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, to His disciples that: “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” I will not stand before The Great White Throne of God, my sins have been cleansed by Jesus Christ's crucifixion on the cross. And I am clothed in the righteousness of Christ of all my sins and iniquities before-today, today and forever. I Love Jesus Christ and despite of the fact that I'm human and I fail Him daily, I pick up my cross daily and follow Him. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He was crucified on the cross where He died for my sins and inequities and that He rose again on the 3rd day to give me a way through salvation and sanctification, known and unknown. He loves me dearly and has forgiven me of my sins and inequities. His Word says that if I deny Him before men, He will deny me before His Father. Following, I believe are the greatest verses in God's Word. "But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." (Matthew 6:33 NKJV) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16 NKJV) I am a Christ-follower and live in the Kingdom of God on earth in Jesus Christ, my Lord, Savior and Leader. I have faith and trust in the grace and mercy of God for eternal life for my soul in Heaven when I pass from this life into paradise. I proclaim this openly to the world, that I am sinner, that I am sorry for my sins and iniquities and repent of my sins and iniquities and receive Jesus Christ by faith into my heart, mind and soul as my Lord, Savior and Leader. I openly confess Him as Lord from this moment on, I want to follow Him, I pledge to obey Him daily, and read His word. I will include those in my prayers who are lost and have chosen to deny God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ declared: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6 NKJV) I am in the “Lamb's Book of Life” and will not face “The Great White Throne of God” which leads to Hell. Jesus said: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and lean on Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-29 KJV) I actually believe God has accepted me. I'm not worried about the “The Great White Throne” judgment of God. I know that one day I will go to spend a magnificent and fascinating eternity with God and Jesus Christ. "Jesus is the Only Way to God" The Hindus would disagree with you, and their religion & holy books are a lot older than Christianity and the Bible. And Hindus have shown the same amount of evidence for the existence of their deities as the Christians have shown for their deity.
Hinduism is far older then Judaism. The Indus Valley civilization, is a pre-deluvian, which is at least 6k years old. If we use the Vedas, Maha-Bharata as reference points, far older. According to Vedic Mathematics, the age of Sanatana Dharma is estimated to be 155.52 Trillion Years. At any rate, In the east, they acknowledge that oral traditions for outdated written word. Sankskrit was created for priests Bhakti Yoga, to record hymns to our creator... whereas Cuneiform with stylus on clay in Sumeria was simply used to record trades and debts... eventually it evolved into the cylinder seals, and story telling, mythos... but not from inception. The Sindu valley is where we derive the word Hindu, and it was a derogatory term... but simply owned by the people, and made into their own. One thing I personally love about their faith, is it allows for differing viewpoints to still be revered and accepted. They do not claim to have a monopoly on faith, or life everlasting.
Lee,you know that I am so theologially illiterate that I actually thought when James, john and Peter was on the Mt. of Transfigeration with Jesus and the cloud covered them and a voice spoke from the cloud and stated..."this is my son the one I approve and love...LISTEN TO HIM!" Lee do you think God will forgive me for not believing he is really Jesus in the flesh and died on the cross for me??. I have read my Bible all wrong. I thought that Jesus was made a high priest by God, and that God exalted him to his right hand in heaven. I even believed that Jesus was the second/last Adam according to Paul.I didn't know that God was second to the first man he created - Adam. I even believed the Bible when Jesus is referenced as a man - a human. Do you know that the demons even told Jesus they knew he was the Son of God on four different occasions in the Gospels. Boy were they fooled, Ha ha! And did I get it wrong when Paul on the road to Demasus was stricken down and asked "Who are you Lord?" And Jesus asked "why are you persecuting me Paul?" Jesus is the son of god. he was born a miraculous birth. he spoke out for his mum from birth because she was accused of adultery by the jews and to prove to ignorance ppl that anything is possible. he cured the leopard disease which was an curable. gave the blind sight and the def their hearing back. he also put the ultimate doubt to bed which was resurrection, he brought back the dead and put life into sculpture of birds and such by the will of god. jesus not once claimed to be god and he always referred to his father. his creator so ppl need comprehend that he is not god hes the servant and a Messenger of god. he just had to be more special then moses so he can make a believers out of disbelieve but some ppl still dont believe.

Oh my lord, the topic states the only way to God is thru Jesus, but... but...well.. you say Jesus IS God! - I'm so confused.Why would the only way to God be Jesus IF Jesus is God - isn't this confusing? I have been reading my bible all wrong and have misunderstood so much. I feel just like a fool! Why on earth did I believe God in the Scriptures when he called Jesus his Son. Oh now I understand, we aren't suppose to understand God with our finite minds, he is a mystery. Why didn't I get this, everyone else has, and you have so many following your lead because you really know what you are talking about. You know when Jesus asked Peter who did he think he was and Peter stated he was the Christ, the son of the most high, and Jesus replied "flesh and blood did not reveal this to you but my father....in Heaven". Oh Lord Lee I had this all wrong- how blind I have been. How could I not see these verses clearly as You do - that Jesus and God are really ONE and the same person. What do you mean by physical evidence? There is many written accounts about Jesus in and out of the bible. Read his book The Case for Christ. But there's not going to be any pictures or videos of him obviously. You can't physically prove George Washington was a person other than the written accounts about him

In he Luke birth narrative the angel Gabriel told Mary she was going to have a son, and his Name would be Jesus and he was the Son of the most high! Did Mary give birth to both Jesus and God at the same time? Was Gabriel lying to Mary?? Goodness have I read my Bible wrong and all along I thought by reading Jon 3:16 God clearly stated he loved the world so much he SENT his "only" begotten son.
