www.youstorm.org - Lenticular clouds forming in shallow moist northeasterly flow ahead of an El Nino weakened front. El Nino subsidence over the Hawaiian region contributed to the development of a strong inversion at the top of the moist layer that aided the development of lenticular clouds. We got only a few drips of rain off of the front during the following night. The clouds line up because of the orientation of the upwind Koolau Mountains.
