I've just discovered your channel and great to see you have already been to Leeds! You should come back and visit the north of the centre where all the brewery taps are.
Welcome! We had a cracking afternoon in Leeds and it got a bit out of hand, wish I could remember a bit more 😂. Relied on our local resident Stan to put it together as Otley Run felt a bit much. Will definitely be back, too many good breweries (and pubs) not too 🍻
@@thehoppytraveller Thanks! The video did look good fun, and a bit messy by the end 😂 I'd avoid the Otley run like the plague if you like good beer! Check out Meanwood Brewery, the North Bar's Springwell site, Ridgeside Brewery, Taratus Taproom, and Bini Brew Taproom (all within walking distance and the route i'd take).
The most beautiful atmospheric pubs in leeds were, when i imbibed ,whitelocks ,the victoria,(behind the town hall) the adelphi and a host of less grand emporia ..you visited the new trendy,young places ,good in themselves but without the gnarled ,grizzled dirty mac characters and the heavily rouged,lined faced women with rasping rough tones drinking stout
I did enjoy Whitlocks (I think!) not sure I had another pub in me by then 😂. Always try to get a local beer where possible and the crafty taprooms are good for that - so many pubs there I’m sure we’ll be back! 🍻

Beer selection was great - I do live down South but was a bit surprised by the prices. It was much cheaper in the chain pubs but always try to sniff out some local stuff 🍻
Great video, I'm a leeds fan and live in Leicester so we only get to go to a few games a season so we make a day of it get around a few pubs been to most of these pubs cause we Tey different ones each time. Got to try a couple of these now cheers! 👍 our favourite pub is probably the brewery tap got a really nice roof top garden.
Thanks James - I was well impressed by the quality and sheer number of pubs. Good to see plenty of local beer too! Old school friends live up there so I’m sure we’ll be back and will try out the Brewery Tap (maybe in summer to make the most of it 🍻)
@thehoppytraveller leeds is a great place to go drinking like you say so many pubs and locals ones. The head of steam, the Scarborough, the Griffin are all worth going also all close to eat other. Yeah go on a nice night to tge brewery tap the roof top garden over looks the train station it's a hidden gem.
