@@remyd1984 Ampadu was someone who never got the chance he deserved, he originally got his debut under Sarri back in 18/19 in the Europa league and certain cup games and impressed then was never to be seen again… he’s always been a baller, Ampadu’s a very calm and composed player very underrated

Bit of a stretch, that claim, he's very good and improving, but to say he's the best..... ? Being a Leeds fan of over 50yrs, I don't rate him as the best in the team yet, has the potential to be a great but he hasn't got the experience and not even a season in the first team squad.

Market forces? We're a huge club with a huge revenue stream. And he's nowhere near ready to play for a top PL side. He doesn't even start in his preferred position for us in the Championship. He has years of development ahead of him. In 5 years he'll only be 23. You don't seem to appreciate that some degree of loyalty exists in football. Man City have done Leeds a big favour in how they've handled Kalvin Phillips. Kalvin left to join a "big club", Archie knows Kalvin, they're both Leeds through and through, but now Archie knows that winning things matters nought if you're relegated to a bit part role. Kalvin Phillips has ruined his career, he went to win things (and he Has), but he's got a big price tag and big wages and a fair bit to run on his lucrative contract. City are going to find it hard to move him on without taking a loss. He's going to find it difficult to get a pay deal anything like he's got at city, he'll end up staying put at city be a fringe/loaned out player and run his contract down during the best years of his footballing career, that wouldn't have gone unnoticed in the Gray family (who all know Phillips). I bet that given the choice Phillips would turn all his winners medals in, to be still part of the Leeds United set up for this season.
