Tremendous to see again. I was at Liverpool Uni at the time and was supposed to be revising for exams Where was I? At the match behind the goal at the Anfield Road end. We won through to the final and beat Juventus and I was there also. If you find film of the league game at Anfield on Jan1st 1972 I would love to see it. I missed it because I was on honeymoon! I am 74 now and still go to Elland Road
The FA Cup, no more replays. The greedy Premier League. Let's just ban the Premier from entering it & the rest of us can enjoy the Cup with it's replays. That's the magic that a small club like Wimbledon & other non League clubs can draw at Old Trafford Anfield & take them back to their place. No wonder that more people don't watch today's football.
Great idea 💡 the rest of football needs to stand up and break away from them.. let them get on with their super league sh#@e..I actually believe the fans of those clubs would rebel and support the wider football pyramid..
