I met her once, when I was in my teens. I sold stuff at a petroleum pump, she was in the car with her mother. She was a natural beauty, and so simple and humble and graceful. Will never forget her.

When i was still in early teens and in schooling, Leena madam, the fairy tale of the by gone era was my most fancied and liked heroine. Manchali featuring her oppisite the great Sanjeev kumar was released when u was in my 9th standard. I crazily watched this movies umpteen number of times just to see her on the screen. She looks very ravishing in that movie. There is one more song " Itna to yaad hai mujhe" featuring Leenaji and Rajesh Khanna. She dances merrily in this song. So such beauties are very rare and create stirs and ripples in the hearts of youth of the generation , tormenting them to no end. Great memories indeed.

Kishore kumar saheb passed away too soon. His popularity has definitely increased after his death as so many people are appreciating his genius. I feel terribly sorry for Leena Ji and her family. If Kishore da survived his 3rd heart attack he certainly would have to retire. It may have given them more time together. But Allah had other plans. We can only pray for his departed soul and wish Ganguly family our best wishes. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
