I love the old Leeroy Jenkins meme but, here's the sad truth of the meme. The meme was originally a recruitment video for their clan as, they needed more members to do some raids. It worked, all to well. Infact, thousands of players swarmed to the server to get a peak at Leeroy, the clan exploded with popularity of members from all over. After the meme became popular, the clan "Friends 4 lyfe" (I can't remember how it was spelled but, it sounds the same) tried to sell merch, only to be copyright because, fuck you. They sold merch with the man behind Leeroys face on it only to sell very few. Now, the sad part is only after two years, the orginal members from the video had removed their accounts, leaving Leeroy alone. He later deleted his account not long after, returning for a brief time and only to leave again. Leeroy WAS planned to be in the World of Warcraft movie as it says. "Private Leeroy charges into battle despite orders". Evidently, this was removed entirely before production began.

Leeroy may of lost the trust of the team BUT HE WON THE MEME

I love how the heart on his guild tabard is broken after everyone gets mad at him. That's so beautifully symbolic.

God I remember the original Leeroy craze back in 2005. Guy became so famous that "doing a Leeroy" became a real world dictionary term. Even to this day he lives on in the hearts of original RU-vid goers. Even one of my Bloodborne characters is called Leeroy in tribute to the legend that is.

It's absolutely astounding how many people think this event was real, even 18 years later.
