Hi Aastha, If there is one thing I have learned over the years it’s that you won’t really know what you like till you try it out practically or personally at least once. I would say the best way to figure this out at this moment is to start classes if possible…See if you’re liking and understanding the course and how it’s expected to be. If yes go ahead and register if not the only investment was the class and that too won’t be wasted cuz you would have grown as a person for sure and eliminate one option from what your career could be, which is great cuz you’ll be closer to what it should be. The combo is not bad…Maybe a more specialised BCOM will be a little better if you can go for that. Job opportunities to be honest boils down to placements and your overall soft skills more than the degree.

If you’re thinking CFA alone will get you a good paying job then that thought itself is wrong. CFA is meant to help you crack interviews when you reach the interview table but the struggle to find a job is there for sure. Also we live in a world where because of AI soft skills are more important so if you cheat CFA But have below average soft skills again you will not get a good paying job. The exam is definitely worth it in the sense that it is globally reputed and highly recognised but that does not mean it’s a job guarantee

Since you have already registered and the scheduling window is still open so you should be safe. Wait till 18-19th for them to open centres in your location else I would say by 20th you might have to select a centre in another location (like for eg: instead of Pune you go for Delhi)
