THE CASHIER AT WILD MUSHROOM RISOTTO, RECOGNIZED YOU, HE SAID HE KNOWS YOU, BUT YOU DIDN'T LISTEN. FIND "BACKPACKER BENJAMIN" TO SHOW AROUND LONDON..!!! 🏢🏭🏫⛲🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
One of the best vlogs from London, you have gone to the right place, it's a gem of foods wow cool...been a Latino you missing out on Paela ....the only factor it's very expensive like everything in London. Otherwise it's a food paradise & collection of people from all around the globe
Thank you for being a non typical vistor and actually going out and enjoying the multicultural food that is available in the U.K! There is something for everyone. Chips are called Crisps!
Them smoking the pork on green eggs is def a great sign that they know what they are doing! They smothered that samich in sauce! I’m normally not a huge coleslaw guy but looked good!
One of my favourite places to go to when in London. You must try traditional Cornish Pasties, Pork Pies, Haggis and Black Pudding when you are next in the UK. Also, what you call chips we call them crisps.
Volpe can slam beers but he never gets a beer to wash down sandwiches and tacos! One of those English beers would go great with that pork sandwich! We can’t do burgers pizza subs etc without a good beer!
This market replaced the old market which is believed to be built in 1014. This market opened in 1756 on a different site which makes it 268 years old. You might want to check that again Volpe.
Actually Dalmatia isnt a town or a city its a coastal region in Croatia.Dalmatian dog was used there as a guard/shepherd dog.And too bad you didnt try the Dalmatian pršut ,one of the best snacks.
Because of your video in the Latin Quarter of London I tried Arepas. My take? It’s like a Mexican Gordita. Thanks for putting me on. Sweet plantains are delicious. Food from Zaguan Dallas
The point about fish and chips is, you're supposed to salt (and vinegar) it yourself, to your taste. They should have provided salt and vinegar for that purpose. But then again, Londoners and Southerners in general don't know anything about decent fish and chips.
Volpe you are all about the food scene but haven't hit Portland, OR yet. One of the best food scenes in the USA. Blues festival/Craft beer festival July 4-7. Best summer weather in USA too. Bring ya ass.
This Place is just a tourist rip off ... Go to Brick lane for good price Indian /Bengali food... Great curries... Great place.... Best bagels too... Buzzing market on a Sunday.... Find a "Manzies" for Pie "N" mash...... Maybe Deptford..? Good market there... Go to a decent "Chippy" for Fish and chips and pay a damn sight less ....... But always put salt and vinegar on.... Head south from Borough to East street in Walworth for a proper London Market.. Dalston or Green lanes for good ,,, Good Turkish / Kurdish food ... Nothing in the world better than a Doner kebab with chilli sauce after a serious night on the beer but always drink out of central London for better prices on yer Lager..... Roman road is a good market with proper cockney pubs.... When I was a kid the Borough market was a proper wholesale fruit and veg market where traders would start work at 3 am and the pubs would open at 4 am serving a full English Breakfast and all the beer you could wish for before you went home with a stack of (probably) stolen bananas , apples and oranges... the steps from the "Borough" up onto London Bridge are called "Nancy;s steps , where Charles Dickens set the scene of the murder of Nancy in "Oliver Twist"....
The fish and chip station at Borough Market is poor, with skin left on the fish (could be be good if crispy) and very bad - tough chips. You would do better elsewhere
