Just got a henry today, it is a henry pet in green, in perfect condition the motor com was so clean you could not see any black resedue. the origonal owner vacuumed up something foul so threw it away i am guessing because the filter when i first got it stunk, it says do not wash on the filter but i did and it was fine, just took forever to dry lol.
An update.. 2 weeks ago the exiled tenants returned to the house where you found this Numatic, but only to (literally) lob their possessions into a caged tipper van and leave for good. A good result all-round then.
Nice job Mr Beko. Tell me, do you know is there a PCB in all the 2 speed Henrys etc,? & can the newer type red Hi Low 'momentary' switch with LED be swapped out for the older type red hi-low with no led on it ? or just another on / off panel rocker switch or must it be a momentary sprung switch ? (just think them switches are too flimsy & pricey, & wondering will an other brand rocker switch do better) have you explored this ?
tommy hanlon I think they do all have a Pcb in if their 2 speed, but I don't know if you can swap the momentary switches out with the normal ones, someone else will know more than me about that
Mieles hate them, the high power overwhelms them, but these seem alright! The pattern sebo fleece ones are ok too. It's the crappy single wall paper bags that do my head in, horrible things
Rather than making Henry be "HubCapLess" you could've replaced them with black ones that you find on NRV200s! I think those floor heads are very very good!! 🙂 Ive had one that came with my HenryAllergy. It is soooooooooooooooooooooo good!! Prefer the AiroBrush tho!
Yes. If it was blue, green or yellow. Although there's some yellow wheel caps on eBay. If he gets another Numatic without wheel caps he could just replace them with black ones rather than coloured ones.
I don't like doing that because if the bag fills before it runs out, it's a waste. Although usually if I can I position the air freshener at the exhaust of the machine, so the whole thing doesn't start to smell of it. On Numatics, I just stick them on the filter, also if the new owner does not like it they can remove it.
He gave him mum a decent autosave with no PCB. The 07 Henry's motor will be salvaged to see if it can be helped, and the rest of it will see either the shed or the bin
Maybe 2008 then , something like that! I'll check tomorrow. Could do a bearing fitting video and we can see if we can make crap henry happier! I've greased the bearings before and it didn't help, he was trashed when I got him though
aaaaaawwwww man sam is lucky because he found this henry😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭but 1 or 2 years ago i went to this guy who lives in a garage and so i went in the dump because i was thinking hhhhmmmmmmmm what if i could find somthing i like and i did so i was lucky and i found a Numatic henry with HI and LO in it and i thought yes i will take it so i took it to my dads car and i turnd it on and it was good but a few seconds after i started smelling this smoke smell and i smelled the back of the henry were the air is coming out from and i said it's this henry so i turned it off just so the motor doesn't burn out but i asked my dad why is this henry smelling horrible and he said it's because the bag is full so i was like ok i get it now☺so when the man who lives in the garage came he said aaaaawwwwww wait thats my henry so i asked him why did you throw your henry and he said because it was smoking so then he went and i played with the henry for a little bit and after that it was time to go so i put the henry back where i found it and i went in my dads car and left the end☺☺☺☺😊😊😀😀😁😁😃😃😄😄😆😆😆😆😆
I had the motor apart twice, and greased the bearings up and he still sounded the same. Performed and ran perfectly fine though, so I left it to see how long he lasted before fully going, and it ran like that for years and years. Think the person I sold him to replaced it in the end though, so I'm sure he sounds really good now 👍
I always meant to replace the bearings, I greased them up and as you hear, it didn't help. But he got upgraded through natural causes! His replacement is bloody spot on, I cleaned mine and mum's car out with him for a good 3 hours the other weekend and he runs like new 😍 Should last them a good while, always used with a bag etc!
