Ringing the bell on this one and linking to the ZX-9R Net forum. You not only created a masterpiece, you took a great bike and made it better with the right upgrades! Nice work!
Good job! Same things that I do for my E1 and this is a really wonderful bike, people turn again to see her again also if is 22 years old.. I left the original tokiko calipers and still have the triumph 4 pistons.I hope you spend the best time on the road with your ZX9R! Kawasaki for all life.
@@Zx9rc1 If you're using your phone, just have it sideways instead of the normal way you'd hold it. Just make sure you have "rotation" enabled. All the best to you mate.
Just done a project like this on a c1. The only thing I did differently was fit a f2 speedo bracket to get rid of that ancient metal bracket that holds the mirrors up
@Zx9rc1 mine was off ebay. Chinese job I think for about 30 quid but if it ever hits the floor I guarantee it's the first thing to snap lol. I'm currently trying to swap my clocks to an e1 but I can't get the pins out. Do you still have the diagram?
Love how you managed to fit the E1 front end, much better, awesome job all round! I need my tank fixing or replaced, none available new or second hand for my colour E1, I really don't want to change the look if it can be helped. Would love to do a full refurb like this if I have to change the colour, but it's just not possible unfortunately. Recognised Fight Music straight away, good choice 👍
Thank you mate! If you look for long enough sooner or later one will come up I’m sure! If not you can get your paint from rsbikepaints and should match up, can get the closest stickers to match from motor-stickers.com 💪🏼
She’s a beaut. Watching this makes me want to rebuild mines in a similar way. Do you have a checklist or list of parts from this build? It would be much appreciated, cheers!
It's beautiful. Let me ask you something. I bought one that was wrecked. I rebuilt it and it was awesome but the Motor had a rattle inside like a rock. Bought a new engine and have yet to install it. I totally lost interest in it. Now it just sits there waiting for me to swap the motor and put it back together. Throughout your whole rebuild, did you ever feel like writers block where you were just didn't want to mess with it anymore?
Thank you mate! Yeah I got that a few times I kept coming across stuff I thought I couldn’t do, I took breaks from it for a few weeks round Christmas and stuff and kept going back to it every time I had a lot of parts built up, engine change is pretty east I set the ending on a spare wheel I had, then lifted the frame over the top of it… good luck with your build 💪🏼🤙🏽👍🏼
Why take those shots in narrow portrait, why would you close one eye to see something for a more narrow view?, can't bloody understand why it's used so much, the wide view is so, so much better! Nice bike now.
