As someone who was born and raised in SoCal/Orange County... I spent many a summer playing wiffleball. We even snuck into gated tennis courts with lights to have night games. Suck it Todd.
did not play much wiffle ball. We played stickball using tennis balls and drawing a strike zone on the wall of a building. We cut the handle of a shovel off to use as a bat. My father hated that.
My friend and I played all summer at our schools tennis court. Wooden bats and tennis balls. The dimensions of the fencing around the tennis court were perfect. Hard but not impossible for 10 to 12 year olds to hit homeruns. We kept stats. Was great. Played all summer. Every day.
