you are the type on immigrant the country needs, i salute you, we dont need what is happening at the moment to our detriment, mid eastern gangs for example.
Im a proud Australian, why should we feel ashamed of the fact the British settled Australia? that was over 200 yrs ago! why should we be blamed for this? Why should they be given everything on a silver platter today when none of these aboriginals , true aboriginals, were around back then? None of it makes any sense . WE ARE ALL AUSTRALIANS AND SHOULD ALL BE TREATED EQUALLY, NO VICTIMHOOD, NO FREEBIES OR LAND GRABS
I agree am proud to be an Australian am proud my country am proud my heritage am proud my Australians flag eventhough am Asian born in this country we are all iqual under the constitution
@@francesdurietz750 The real aborigines are very nice people. They must be appalled at how their way of living and culture has been hijacked and abandoned by these self-serving, money and power hungry marxist activists.
I was born here to immigrant parents who copped a lot of crap in the 50s and 60s but still believed in this country and now I’m supposed to be ashamed.
I'm the same , born to post WW2 immigrants- I will never be ashamed of the country I was lucky enough to be born in. I wish all these left leaning activists would stop ruining this country.
Just remember at election whose trying to take it away Labor greens Yes they did wasn't handed anything and got called wogs Which now the people wear with a badge of honour For all their parents and families hard work Be loud and proud
Hey Ricky. Am I a china bot am I? Why would I be a china bot? What does a china bot do? Are you thinking I might be a china pot? See how I pour the tea.
Proud to be a migrant and an Aussie. Did my first shopping at Coles today in a very long time, as I usually shop at Woolies and Aldi. I will get familiar with the aisles in Coles soon…
Everyone in the comments 👆🏼tonight eat, sleep, and prosper off the back of this countries shame. If we’re going to annually celebrate the history of Australia Day 🇦🇺, can we also remember and mourn its shame? I believe real true blue Aussies with a conscience, who love everything about this country and ALL who live in it, are capable of doing both.
One flag, one nation. It’s a pretty good place to live by anyone’s standards and we should all do our bit to keep it growing in a healthy and prosperous direction. Whatever you do, don’t feel guilty or ashamed. It’s a false narrative being pedaled around to get us off our guard. Stand tall, stand proud and stand together. We are one 🇦🇺
All levels of government should be supporting Australia Day rather than retreating and cowering from the activists. It appears that many politicians at all levels can’t articulate the good things about Australia. Many reconciliation plans at organisations and all levels of government are being approved without scrutiny to avoid any perception of not being inclusive.
Should be lucky the British settled this stone age country . There are many other nations that would have totally wiped out the Indigenous people . And that's not far back , 1942
Australia Day rocks! 🇦🇺❤ You can't appease far-left whingers. Party on in true Aussie spirit, and let the moaners drown in their self pity and hatred. ONE People, ONE Nation, ONE Flag🇦🇺
For some reason Australia has always suffered from a cultural cringe. When ever famous people came here the pathetic reporters would ask ‘What do you think of Australia?’.How pathetic.Who cares what they think. Are we only relevant if a famous person approves.I have always been proud to be Australian. There is no other country as good.We need to develop a sense of pride and unity. This is what the government should be promoting. Not divisive voice campaigns and mealy mouth words that they support Australia Day,but do nothing to show that and allow woke councils to not hold citizenship ceremonies on Australia Day.I feel deep hurt for my beloved country. We cannot even have one day to acknowledge our country. We have everything else supported, but not the real meaning of Christmas or Easter and the pride we feel in our country and the sacrifices our ancestors made to produce the country we have today.
We could be speaking Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, French, Japanese or Indonesian, with legal system to match. Instead we got the Brits. Our indigenous people should be bloody grateful for the way it turned out, and no doubt the more sensible ones appreciate that.
Who are the people against Australia Day? They all say the aborigines are against it. This is a race of people who will be complaining until the end of time about everything. Maybe it is time for a Referendum on not giving aborigines anything more than every other Australian. When that wins it could be our new Australia Day.
I think this is so sad and a mark of disrespect by the leading party who are pushing their views down the throats of all aussies We should all stand up together as a multi cultural nation and celebrate this beautiful land I’ve never seen Australia so divided as it’s been since the Labour Party stole the election by aligning with the greens and teals
Time to promote ourselves as Australians & how great we are as a great young country that is so tolorant & accepting of others. Not to vilify ourselves like depressed moppy sops who think its ALL bad? 😊
Im bloody proud to be an Aussie and no one will ever make me ashamed of it the only think i am ashamed of and that i don't call Aussie is that clown so called Priminister and those who are in this country who are trying to destroy what makes this country great.
Anyone got hearing aids Can you send them to these people Because albo union labor green government's Seemed to be deaf to what the Australian society have been requesting
AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE! LOUD &PROUD You can’t loose you patronism OR make it a dirty word. Our troops are under our Flag! If in the future when the worst comes to defend our country WHO will do what our great grandfathers did? ?? If you don’t have pride where you’re from you don’t have much.Pride in ur country Pride in your last name, family morals, it’s all we are. it was soo different when we were young I was born in the 80s brought up in the 90s we were taught respect. That has gone none all this coddling of our kids > Hard times create Strong men Easy Times create weak men! When a people stop believing in the wellsprings of their own civilisation their military capacity doesn’t matter very much. They loose there way, they give up on an understanding of what it is that we have & ARE & boy will we miss it when we don’t have it or refuse to fight for it.
Australia should be actively discouraging alcohol, cigarettes and their like, mind affecting drugs from all social use. We should be encouraging self control and wise use of our finances, healthy bodies and minds and good manners and morals. Amen!
As danhunt Pete continues to represent the man who gave up his Australian citizenship to become an American, Australians celebrate the Australians who didn't... Australians....🇦🇺 😆😆😆
There pointing out the leftists especially these leftists blackactivists are lying to the indigenous population about the history ask them why they never say sue the English Royal family it was England that came here under British rule convicts came here in chains built this country Australia was formed in 1901 the left are village idiots they want everyone ashamed they should be ashamed of themselves playing victim is rediculous only fool's exploit the past
The government after 1901 did some very very horrible things the aboriginals. To brush that aside so easily like you just did. Speaks for you so much more than you think@@tomjones5338
More insulting opinions to everyone who opposes this sky news host .Can't she seem she is highly unpopular in Victoria and around Australia .Keep 8nsulting mainstream and progressive voters Peta.
@yasi4877 Keep insulting the intelligence of Victorian voters, and that will be the case for decades. You don't know the main reason Victorians are overwhelming reluctant to vote liberal ? Give you a clue ,it all stated with Premier Jeff Kennett .Voters will never forgive or forget .Okay .
@@BobPsomiadis I voted for Kennett but didn't like what he did. So I voted ALP after that. Now I have the good sense not to vote for any of the major parties as they do not represent Australians. They are under the control of the WEF and the plan for 2030 in partnership with the UN. That is a fact.
Woolworths don't seem to have a problem flogging off Halloween rubbish, but not sell merchandise for our national day? Peter Dutton was right in suggesting go elsewhere to shop. Unusual reaction from Labour though, they bagged him out for suggesting such a thing. Now wouldn't you think that they would have gotten in behind him for speaking out about what is very un Australian conduct?
We can then deduce that 1 Wokeworths are anti Australian and 2. pro anti Christian. I can remember the time when they used to have fish specials on Fridays in lent. I celebrate Australia Day on behalf of all aboriginals because this celebrates the day that the wheel was brought to Australia for the first time.
I am an immigrant of some 40+ years, and I am grateful for the opportunities I have had here,in serving the sick as a nurse. My children are born here and strive to be good citizens. I am very Proud to be pledge my allegiance to this country and always will.
If you are immigrating to this amazing country you should feel so proud, so grateful for the privilege. The freedom the landscape and the amazing standard of living. We Australians love our magnificent nation and will continue to fight for everything that has made our nation great, our history and every one who went before us to make Australia the magnificent place it is right now.
I’ll be fully decked out with my Australia Day cap, T-shirt, sneakers, camp chair and many flags and balloons. Anyone who doesn’t like it, that s their problem not mine
GenZ-type pubs in Sydney are promoting parties on the 25th/26th January but referring to "26th Jan Public Holiday"; cancelling the name of the day. I thought the problem was with the date; but it appears they want Australia Day completely cancelled. Their Marxist zealotry is breath-taking
@@boblouden6663 My people were convicts on the first fleet, if anyone has a right to be outraged about the date its me and mine. Aboriginals have no right to culturally appropriate my day, which I'm happy to say our multicultural nation largely celebrates. Hell, my immigrant wife insists we celebrate it. I will admit, there are legit reasons for aboriginal angst, I feel the same way about the separatist NAIDOC week.
This narrative doesn’t exist in the real world. Only on media channels. Allegedly in UK it’s the same and no one even discusses this. Maybe in some niche university course circles it’s a thing. Maybe in some school lessons. In the north from midlands to Scotland I’ve never heard it barely even discussed.
Why should we feel ashamed because of the "Vegan Salmon eating sect"? Maybe they should stop looking into the hall of mirrors and rejoice and thank God that nobody's chucking bombs at us. I LOVE AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺 ❤
No need to be ashamed, we can do it better now by being totally inclusive, having the benefit of hindsight and treating all as equals and being proud Australians. No point or need to listening to the bull shit stirrers.
