I belong to a Facebook quilting group and every time a new quilter asks a question, I always refer them to your RU-vid channel and tell them that you are the best at what you do. Have a great holiday.
Hi Donna & thanks for the beautifully crafted table runner. Besides your style & clear explanation, I loved your fabric choice. I'm not fond of the tired browns, rusts, etc that you see in quilts. I like the color pop in this project. I bought a book today on color pairing which I lack skill, but luckily I can sew so with practice I'll be "half" square as good as you! LOL..Happy Holiday to You & Family.💌
Love love your quilts. ! Thank you . You make it so easy to learn . I’m. 66 I just started sewing period. And I’m in love with quilting . I just wished I’d started many years ago . Thank you again .
It’s a shame we can only enter the giveaway once Donna. Thank you for your great videos and the confidence you’ve given me. I find quilting such a joy ❤️
Donna, You are so clever with your tips and so generous to offer free patterns to us, especially at a time when so many of us have lost our jobs. I look forward to every video. Each one a bright spot in the day. Happy Easter to you and your family and team!
I watch all your videos and I love them all. I follow you since 2017. Is very excited when I have notifications for or videos and emails from you. Thank you so much for sharing with us. 🥰🙏🏻
There is no way you could possibly waste fabric. This is the best use of scraps I’ve ever seen. Absolutely beautiful! Some of the blocks look almost three dimensional.
Donna I know there is a lot of work goes into doing this videos for us. Thank you hope you and your family has a nice Easter, I know your table will look great with a runner on it.
I am just always so appreciative of your instruction. You instinctively know what I as the student will need to understand in order to do the project. Thank you Donna!
Ooo SO excited for this one! 😍 I’d LOVE to see you do more table runners, table toppers etc. I love the big quilts but honestly they get expensive so I end up making more runners and toppers and such than I ever do a full size quilt. And of course I love all your suggestions! Thank you SO much for making all these patterns free to us, it’s a wonderful and appreciated gift! 💝
That turned out beautiful as always. Have never heard of slightly skewing the backing. Will have to try that. I learn something new on most of your tutorials. You are so real and down to earth, you makes us feel so comfortable, not intimidated , to try a new pattern or technique. Thank you for all you and your family do. God bless. Stay safe.
I’ve never heard of this technique, but am eager to test it out. This mostly scraps table runner is the perfect project on which to try it out for myself. Thanks Donna!!!
OMGosh, that advice to skew the backing is fantastic! I have an old machine, can't drop feed dogs, and even with a walking foot, still struggle to quilt. Can't wait to give this a try!
Oh my goodness this is an amazing video... I'm a newbie to quilting in the last 7 months, and have two king-size tops to quilt.... the angled backing is just perfect advice at the precise moment I needed it !!!! Thank you SO much for your videos Donna, your explaining is the best, best wishes from Scotland x
I can totally see myself making one or two of these out of scraps as I finish up a quilt top to throw into a scrappy "memory quilt" eventually. Each block reminding me of a quilt I've made. I can also imagine whipping up these blocks as a surprise focus addition to the backing of a more elaborate top. Putting this into my bag of tricks, for sure. Thanks!
My gosh Donna, you never cease to amaze me with yet another great project. We are all so blessed with your generosity. You design projects then give them away. Amazing!!!
I've been watching you for over a year now Donna, and I LOVED the tip about turning the backing fabric! Could you do more detail on binding, how to make binding, how to put it on?
Great tutorial! I love how versatile this pattern is and incorporates many different types of scraps. Thank you Donna & Jordan Fabrics for another great video!
Another video from Donna! Nothing goes better with my morning coffee than a quilting video from you. Great tip about the backing at an angle. I had no idea! You explain every step so clearly that I feel my confidence rising with each video. Thank you!
While I am a beginner, this is the first time I’ve heard about turning the underside to a slight angle on any of the RU-vid channels. Thank you for the tip! I can’t wait to try it!
I've been quilting for years and am proof you can learn something new every single day!! Did not realize that the slight turn would help with any possible shifting while quilting. WHO KNEW!!! LOL
thanks Donna! Love your videos! I don't know if you have any insight on a quilt as you go quilt or table runner. You just explain everything much better and I would love to see it.
Donna I'm so happy you made another tutorial. I love all your tutorial. BUT, I was wondering if you can make a tutorial with matching type placemats for this table runner. I know scraps can't match but just a tutorial for the pattern in placemats... please!!!!! And thank you
I've just entered for the Twist & shout quilt, I love those colours and the pattern, I hope I'm not to late in entering (3/4/21)🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Thanks again Donna for all your wonderful Video's/tutorials Help and Ideas
