To answer your question, this will definitely work for pots patients. That’s the reason I brought these. Because of pots, my legs get achy, heavy, and painful. These compression massagers really helps. Mine came with, heat and compression. These have been a great relief to my legs.
I have Muscular Dystrophy and experiencing odema due to immobility. I've been wanting to buy these on Amazon FOREVER but was concerned they wouldn't work for me and I'd waste my money. Your positive outcome from using the product has convinced me to try it. Thank you! Please could you try arm ones next?
I literally went and bought a pair mid video! I have horrible edema from about 6 different surgeries that took such a tool on my body (which you know all about). I have been missing my lymph OT and PT sessions so badly and my arm has been so bad I haVe been feeling hopeless. Thank you. This gives me something to at least try and reminds me not to give up, to keep pushing for the right support for my body so I can have a life. I love your channel and think you are a beautiful person!
I watched you a lot in highschool and its really nice to see a familiar face rn. I hope you are staying sane and happy during this time. You have always been so incredibly positive no matter what. You inspire me. 🥰😍
You look great! I have all kinds of medical issues, and I don’t think you should feel like you gave to explain your appearance. Fluid or weight gain aside you look fantastic! With all you have been through you are lucky to still be alive. You are still as pretty as ever, inside and out!
Amanda Howard I think Christina did that because it’s very relevant to the product she’s testing. It’s not real weight gain but fluid. She’s very pretty as I’m sure we can all agree.
The one time I was hospitalized, I loved the leg squeezers too! They felt comforting to me. On the other hand, my husband has has many surgeries, and he definitely did NOT like them.
I love this review!! I've always struggled with excess fluid in my legs, no matter what weight I was. One little tip is to prop your legs up during the treatment -- that will give you a little extra bang for your buck! Thanks so much for posting. It's really nice to see you again! :)
I'm so happy to see you Christina. My mental health hasn't been great lately but it really helps being able to see the folks I care about on the internet. I tend to "treat" my bad episodes by leaving my house and seeing people existing so, I suppose that makes sense. Ha. Anyway, I'm so glad you're doing well enough to film. I wish you safety and spoons.
My dad had a fancy one that went up to his thighs. It was one with a tableside machine, I think it also went for longer than 15 minutes, I think it was around 35 minutes?
I would be interested to see the reduction in swelling if you didn’t then while laying flat and with your feet above your heart? I bet you’d get a lot of swelling reduction!!
Oh yes please make a part 2!! I have missed your videos. So glad you are back with the content and on the mend again. I hope you have great success with the compression stuff. You might try a hand held massager or maybe your mom would do some massage for you especially on hands and torso. A roller might help with the facial swelling. ❤️❤️❤️
you're videos are so well done and valuable to have on the internet, so sorry for this completely irrelevant comment...but girl you look so much like Megara from Hercules!!
Welcome back love, it's always great to see an upload! I'm glad this item worked out for you and thanks again for quality content! Also I would love a part two
I’m so glad you are feeling up to making videos again. Any forward progress is good. I hope you can get to your therapy appointments soon. I know I’m feeling the fact that I haven’t been able to get to my therapy sessions.
So glad to see your video! I was just thinking about you...I'm the lucky one who bought your beautiful sunflower afghan. Every time I see it I wonder how you're doing. Thanks so much for trying out these products for us. I'm a zebra with POTS, so maybe I'll give the leg squeezer a try!
Christina, I’m so so happy to have you back on youtube. To me, it looks like your facial swelling has diminished since the photo with the toque (beanie?). You look fantastic. Glad you are finding the squeezers so comforting. I would suggest you try them with your legs elevated (not dangling down), as it may enhance the movement of fluid. Lve you so much❤️
It's so good to see you back on RU-vid I'm glad you are healthy enough for now to be back and hope that this continues for you as it would be lovely for you to be able to have a break from surgeries and hospital visits. I would really love a video on your journey with re introducing food after being reliant completely on feed if this would be something that you would be happy sharing.
It made me laugh because right as I was thinking about moon boots you brought it up. Lol I tried a compression product for my messed up hand and it has helped a lot more than the majority of the other braces I bought
I just found your channel and I’ve been obsessed with it. You’re so kind and such a brave person. I was in such a dark place before knowing you! Thank you for sharing your story with us. Love youuuu!!! Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽
Lauren Doherty Tu español está perfecto! 👌🏻 I used to complain a lot about my country, but the last few months I’ve travel to such amazing places around it. The people, the food, the beauty of each place and the believes each one has made me realize that even with his downsides Mexico is amazing. Hope you visit us soon and I’m sure you’re gonna love it
I would love to see a part two! These seem very handy; I'll try to get my hands on them. My swelling is less obvious than yours but it does happen from time to time, especially right under the knee for no reason! My feet would love these boots too! Self-care is so important during these times!! Can't wait to see you again :)
Thanks for the new video. I would like to see a part two! I really enjoy your content. Good job Christina. I would be interested in seeing a review on support pillows, especially ones that you use in bed. Or if you use products to help you regulate your temperature especially in hot weather so things you do to help you stay cool?
Great video! It is so wonderful to see you making such great content. You are a wonderful presenter, and I'm so glad you found something that improves your quality of life.
I’m so happy you’re back! Please make a video about the thigh highs ones because I have a really bad problem with swilling and the heat sounds so awesome!
I'm currently dealing with lymphedema, but doing self massage and then wraps (because of the whole virus thing). I have EDS, too, though, and it's pretty rough on my hands. That looks way easier.
Hi Christina! I'm totally down for a Part 2. I also love compression and love those leg squeezers in the hospital. You are wonderful! I am seriously thinking of purchasing some of these!
Oooh oh love the video! And it also helped me to remember, I wanted one of your watercolor zebra tshirts, cuz it was the ad that popped up. Yay me i get anawesome Christina t shirt!!
These compression massagers are great for everyone, including healthy people. I got once overnight after a surgery and love them. Thought they would be entirely unaffordable. Saw some for hundreds of dollars until I found the at home ones. Got the thigh high ones (without heat) for around $80 and they are the best. I have varicose veins and worry about circulation and this machine is sooooooo worth its weight in gold. A manual full body massage runs about the same price and with this machine I get endless sessions. I feel this will help prevent a lot of potential circulatory issues in the future and if helps my tired legs feel so much better. Beyond being so relaxing.
I just want to say you are beautiful! You mentioned in the update video that you’d confidence has taken a hit and please know you are beautiful and amazing. Also your general swelling looks significantly lower from the beginning to the start of the video. :) also part 2 please if your up to it :)
You can really see the swelling is less after you use it! I’m so glad you’ve found something that provides you some relief. Happy tears I hope x I’d definitely love to see you try out the thigh-high heated ones and experiment with using these on your arms (providing it’s safe for you to do so x). This kinda thing could really help with my blood pooling I think but I just don’t have the money to try thinks I can’t guarantee will work. I hope this makes a big difference to your pain and swelling and that you’re staying safe x 🦓🥄💜
I'd love to see another video about this, it's super interesting! I'm so happy for you that it helps you feel a little better. I personally don't have lymphedema, that I'm aware of, but it's all very interesting to learn about. And I've missed your videos! Wishing you and your family all the best!
Love new videos from Christina , it makes me so happy to see new videos .your an amazing person Christina your little sister is too . Your whole family must be very strong to deal with all the issues cronic illness brings . Beloved family ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️
You are beautiful no matter what Christina! I hate lymphodemia it really sucks. I have it in my arm due to damage to my lymph nodes (well the lymph nodes are dead sadly) Keeping the swelling down is a pain! I personally hate tight fitting clothes but you do what you have to do to help your body. Sending my love.
Thanks for this video! I love seeing your products tests/reviews. I had never heard of this type of machine and now I'm considering getting one for myself for POTS relief (I would be interested to hear anything you have to say on the subject, maybe in part 2 when you review your thigh high squeezer & try on your arms?), and possibly getting one for my grandmother to help her edema related to type 2 diabetes. One thing I'm wondering is if it might be more effective to use with your legs elevated, so that gravity is helping pull the fluid down while the sleeve is pushing it out. It would be interesting if you tried that and measured to see if you get more reduction with elevation compared to in a seated position.
Good point! I definitely have gotten in the habit now of using it in bed or the recliner, but I have never done the same measurements then. I mostly sat that way to have a clear camera shot
I love these in the hospital because of the pain relief. I did order ones on Amazon about 6 months ago, but they were terrible. I can't remember the brand, but they were very very inexpensive (which is maybe why they weren't very good). I would also like them to come up to my thighs & knees. I need pain relief so badly - I can't get out of bed. Thank you so much for the review!!
I’d totally love a art too! Angioedema is also a MCAS symptom as well some other conditions. , so if you aren’t aggressively treating it, you may want to ask your doctor if there are any good options for you. A week after i was put on iv Benadryl, all the edema Went completely away! Thanks for the update! I’m sending healing thoughts, hugs, and prayers your way!
I seriously hope you have an Amazon affiliate link girl. I'm about to go on an Amazon shopping spree when i get my check from the government and I want to be able to help you out. Always willing to help a fellow zebra out! Much love to you beautiful girl. Keep up the amazing work looking forward to part 2!
Really like your black pants and that gorgeous sun/moon wall hanging!! can you maybe post where you got it? i am one of the few people my doctor said when i was little that got excited to have my blood pressure taken. lol i looove that squeezed feeling. no where near the same as your expierence, but i too love that feeling. I've never expierenced the leg ones. i am loving that companies are starting to provide bags or whatever you need to put your things in, no matter what it is. finally they are thinking smart haha xoxo love from Maryland
My SO has lymphedema pumps gotten through insurance. He loves them. They run for an hour at about 50 mmhg. The only downside is all the trips to the bathroom for the 3 hours afterwards.
I really love these videos. I do not have edema, but some of my family members do. And I am very interested in compression garments to possibly help my poor circulation and POTS. I really like your Spoonie products series! :)
im glad these are working so well for you!! i would love to see you try the other ones out. i wonder how these would work for pots. i struggle a lot and i love compression socks so maybe this would be similar but more intense??
I started having issues with edema after I developed severe DVT in my left leg due to the iliac artery collapsing. My biggest issues are my upper arms and left leg. I've been so overwhelmed with other health issues that I haven't really paid much attention to the edema. I finally found a decent GI last week who agrees that I have gastroparesis. I've only waited 49 years to hear that! I have compression sleeves, but they really are a pain to put on.
I have vascular lympthedema(along with MS and Diabetes) in both legs with custom compression garmets(40-30) and vascular pumps SC-3008 -DL Squential Circulator I have to sit with my legs elevated the computer that controls them is either 1 hr or continuous I have to do 4 hrs a day (my pressure is all the way up to 58 ) mine go full leg I'll have to have both permantly hope your's isn't like that.
