@@NitishPercherla yeah but I've improved. I eat banana smoothie (potassium) every morning. And I run with my family in the front yard...no cramps since then.

Did you ever find out what cause was? I’m going through exactly that. Ankle, knee, hip with throbbing ache and searing pains. Def not muscular. Like deep in my bones or something
I’ve found if you keep both legs still for a period of time they stop hurting, it takes up to 5-20 minutes to stop, but usually only 10. Once they feel better and aren’t hurting anymore, keep them still for another 30 seconds because If you get up to quickly they will hurt again. Also, I have had pain in my calves a lot, and I’m not sure why. It could just be growing pain because I am about 10 years old, and I am 4’9 the last time I checked. I am also have been getting taller throughout the months.. well.
Seriously I’m 15 and this scared me I get leg cramps sometimes but rarely I used to get them all the time when I was growing a lot, but the sharpe pain in legs scared me because sometimes I get this uncomfortable sharp pain in my legs when I’m in bed sometimes.
I had vicious, nasty leg spasms at night and drank diet tonic with quinine (availabe at walmart & other stores with no prescription needed) to stop the painful cramp, which it did, but recently my doctor put me on a muscle relaxant (first on baclofen, then switched to Gabapentin). Ask your doctor if a muscle relaxant can help.
I actually searched this up because my dads leg hurt alot my mom started rubbing it to make it feel better then my dad felt cold and started shaking and shaking... he drank something (idk what) and he felt a little better, i told him to go to the hospital becase that might be fatal, he said "no im fine". I'm wondering if blood glucose can cause it. I don't have symptoms of diabetes, yet I get severe leg cramps in both legs from eating too much pasta (I think). The only other possibility is potassium deficiency. My doc says my blood glucose tests come in fine, but that's not after I eat a dinner-sized portion of pasta. Idk. I'm throwing guesses, here.
My leg is hurting now, mildly but kinda radiating. So i tried to fight it by sleeping it off for a few hours. I woke up and my leg was like: "Yeah im still here. How was your sleep?" im hoping its not DVT or PAD or even diabetes. ☹

diet change is needed. avoid all junk foods and drinks, avoid all oils. no refined sugar, stop all sugars for now, except whole fruits. eat organic arugula, avocado dandelion greens, cilantro, parsley, legumes, key limes or lemons with the seed in it, blue berries, any kind of berries etc you will begin to heal within 90 days or less to your surprise.

I can't walk for a long a time or walk very fast because my calf muscles will start acheing so badly I can't even stand. It's feels like I have bricks on my legs and I can't move because if I do attempted to keep walking through the pain and aching then my legs will get stiff and cause me to stop and sit on the ground because I can't even stand. I have to sit down to get the pain off my calf muscle. Do you know what is wrong?
I have a deep throbbing pain in my right hip ..at night my legs tingle and ache. I noticed that i am quickly out of breathe when i try to run. My cholesterol is a bit high. I'm in my mid 30s last 3 months I've had leg pains 24/7. Ultrasound showed mild plaque build up below the knee. Bloodwork good, cholesterol slightly high. Muscle twitches in the calf. I'm not overweight or a smoker. This doesnt make sense, came out of nowhere.

I have gerd and I take omeprazole which has caused me to have high blood pressure after taking this medicine for 4yrs. I do feel the heart beat in left calf but I do have some other symptoms like chest pain,left arm pain and shoulder. I've been checked in the past and they always say my heart its fine but this pain won't go away and feel short of breath at times too. I'm 32 BTW

Its March 23,2010. I have been waking up with my calfs hurting. I am diabetic though basically just taking metformin and insulin ( though I just ran out). Now I come on here to hear if its vascular issues I have like 5yrs to live??? WTH??? I am 54 but I have two younger kids 13,12yrs old. I need at least another 10-15 years. Pshhhhhhh. Trust me....i highly doubt u have atherosclerosis at 18. Takes years and years and years for it tk happen. See how these patients are all 50 plus? Good reason, cuz it's extremely rare for someone to have atherosclerosis in their 20s.
