Tbh, Lizzie and Josie doesn't need it. Valerie siphoned het magic from her necklace because she was mostly surrounded by humans. Lizzie and Josie are surrounded by superhuman beings, so they can siphon the magic from others easily. When their hands turn red that means they siphon the magic. Its kinda easy, the whenever they are aiming her magic at someone, they need to touch somebody to use their magic, or they can just store it in their body or an ornament, jewellery etc. Valerie didn't know she could really do that, so, she kept the magic in her necklace

Bumpie YT so imagine a time where Lizzie or Josie are in a life or death situation and don’t have any sort of supernatural being or magical building to siphon magic from. Where are they suppose to draw magic from? They aren’t gonna be surrounded by ally supernatural being and a magical building all the time. The magical necklace or whatever object they would like to wear around is a safety precaution not to mention a lot more efficient than looking for something to siphon off of when you’re in a tight situation where magic is needed at a seconds notice.

@@TheSheldon06 That's the part they dies, they can use stored magic which valid in their system for a duration but if they were to cast powerful spells the magic juice will runs out in no time. To cast pain infliction on a being like The Originals using magic from the wall or someone might be an issue, worst killing off the person they siphoning.
