I feel like they all panicked and lazily rewrote his script and quickly got rid of him. Vampires are my favorite monster these are fearful fictional creatures. They are a mix of animal and human. Animals don't ask for consent they survive.

Lizzie was not in Penelope and josie business. Penelope hated Lizzie and all she ever did was try to warn Josie about how selfish Lizzie was. Penelope was obsessed with hating Lizzie and by sticking up for Josie. Everyone knows that. The only time lizzie seemed to care about josie relationship was when she was with landon thats because of hope.

But Lizzie was always trying to control her also!
