I think there will be a new show from what Julie has said , probably a spin off . We need to wait and see what if it’s gonna be about. I just hope we don’t see Alaric anymore this series. People say he’s the reason Josie left
@@jenniferxd8900 what did julie say? and honestly idec what it is if it’s a spin off i’ll still be very happy. As long as we get to see the franchise continue. Also i’m not sure if that’s really the reason, i love alarics character and i love how long he’s been in the franchise he’s the longest character on screen so it would be sad to see him go honestly
@@gregs8045 Caroline is the headmistress now so I’d there’s a spin off most likely we will see her in place of Alaric. And Alaric will be the new Caroline where he will be gone. Julie said that it is not over for the franchise. That we might see more to come. Hopefully it’s a spin off. Hopefully with hope and Lizzie in it. I love Josie too
@@jenniferxd8900 a spin off? With who? Legacies was supposed to be the only spin off. If it is with Hope then her story has taken a turn in which the salvatore school must be present and that means caroline, Josie, Lizzie, Mg, Cleo. If it is with Lizzie then Caroline Josie, Hope and MG, assuming they didnt break up, have to be there and so on. All the decendants of the protagonists, antagonists and even old villains were used. A new show from the begining will not be able to stand on its own as the new dangers are too difficult for any non special bloodline such ad Bennett, Mikaelson, Gemini.
If we're counting TVD and TO characters, then Caroline, Bonnie, Damon, Elena, Jeremy, Matt from TVD (which would count as Alaric and Caroline's family) and Freyah, Keelin, Vincent, Rebekah, Marcel, Kol and Davina from TO, which count as Hope's actual family.

@@TheShivergirl1 no, they are not, and actually they've been mentioned multiple times in Legacies as alive. In the final of TVD what we see id the perspective of them finally reconnecting with their love ones once they are dead, even though the show runners didn't actually make them look as old there but as their younger selves. They are so alive that when Klaus mentions to Rebekah in the final of TO that when the time comes she can go to Mystic Falls to get the cure, he means once Damon has lived long enough and it's about to die (cause he is still in Legacies the one that has the cure inside to make him human)
