Legacies | 4x20 | Hope and Klaus "I love you so much, always and forever" 

As emotional as this was, I really wish Klaus was there in the flesh and could actually talk to Hope, that would’ve been so much better!

“Because you are my peace“ I’m so glad we got that quote from Klaus.

I love that klaus is at peace. He was the reason that we had 13 years of TVD universe. Love this!! Always and Forever.

It’s so weird how we went from hating Klaus from season 2 of TVD to crying over his death or him returning ♥️😍 this series really did something to us

I'm actually happy this is how they brought him back. His character's arc was perfect. I, unlike some, loved the way things ended for him. I was afraid that whatever they did on Legacies might ruin that, but this is fitting. Just a message for Hope. His daughter. His heart. Something for her to carry with her. There was nothing else for Klaus' character to do. He said all of his goodbyes to his family already. He found his redemption and is now at peace. The perfect end to a wonderfully flawed character.

KLAUS, what more needs to be said. When that one tear comes down the cheek, so did mine, by the time he had two rolling down his face, I was sobbing 😭. The loss he slowed down and spoke of was Elijah, Hayley and Camille. He's STILL the BEST of all the series 💞❣. There WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER KLAUS🥰💖 . He was the BEST one you hated to love 💘😊💗. Love that he found peace, he deserved it.

Thank you for this beautiful ending. I love that he didn't just say goodbye but he gave her advice about life as an imortal because he knows as much as it's beautiful, it has it's darkside and he knows it best

we really waited for klaus to come back for so long just so he can be on a bedsheet?

His monologue was beautiful and his acting was on point (as always). However, because of this stupid screen looking like some kind of bedsheet or blanket, I couldn’t take it seriously. Honestly, I didn’t feel anything. I was upset at producers for making it look so bad. This show sucks when it comes to CGI. Even though Joseph was in Toronto, this could have been done so much better…

I'll love this father and daughter duo always and forever.

We finally got the closure of knowing that Klaus is at peace. People are mad because they thought that the writers had forgotten about Hayley but I think that the real closure that Hope needed is from Klaus. In the originals, Hope got to meet Hayley in the afterlife knowing that Hayley is at peace whilst she never knew whether Klaus (and Elijah) were at peace or not. She just knew that her father loved her so much that he might not be at peace knowing that she wasn't. Regardless, Hope's parents message to her was really beautiful. Klaus: You will make mistakes in your life. You will have hard times. For no one with your power, always know how to use it properly. You will find love, and you will lose it. But the most important thing about your life, is that you live it. Because you, are my peace. I love you, always and forever. Hayley: So you better make good stories. make art, use your voice, have adventures, and have at least one totally epic love. and be every bit of yourself. because the very best of me is in you. I love you too, always and forever. Even better that Hope, lived her life as a hero, with her power, living up to her father's last piece of message (and still continue to do so), and already had good stories, made arts, used her voice, had adventures, and had a very epic love throughout her relatively short lifespan, living up to her mother's message. Holding on to her always and forever too. Hope grew up beautifully 😭❤️

OMG it's the end of a 13 yr long journey you guys!! TVDU gave us all something that we'll always want to relive. As long as we love TVDU, we are family. And family is ALWAYS & FOREVER. Thank you to the entire cast for giving us TVDU!

I was really happy Klaus is back, but I was disappointed at the same time that he wasn’t really back. I basically got hyped just for nothing. Yes this scene is very emotional because Hope on this day still miss her father to whom she’s always been close with even since she was a baby because Klaus would do anything for her no matter the sacrifice and all. To which we all cannot blame her for crying. I just wish if Klaus was there in flesh or even in the afterlife it would make it a whole lot better, plus why not get Rebekah, Freya, Kol, and Marcel the whole Mikaelson family to seen this, see Klaus in the flesh, or in the afterlife I can tell it would make it 100x better and way more emotional! Seeing Klaus finally saying and showing he regretted all the things back then, shows how amazing not just redemption, but also character development. We all know deep down is his daughter Hope that changed him from being this cruel, evil, cold-hearted, narcissist, psychopath, selfish, angry, and hateful being. To now being the most selfless, caring, loving, heroic, willing to make sacrifices for anyone, loving brother to his brothers and sisters, and most of all the most loving and amazing father to his daughter Hope. Always and forever, long live the Mikaelson

Klaus: My littlest wolf, my miracle child. What a gift to be able to give you one last message, so please carry it with you in the years to come. I want you to know this, you will make mistakes in your life, that comes with being a Mikaelson. And you will go through hard times, for no-one with your power always knows how to use it properly, you will find love, and you will lose it, for such as the burden of immortality , the most important thing about your life, is that you live it , because YOU are my peace, and I regret a lot of things but I don't regret a single moment I spent with you, I love you so much, Always and forever.

I felt like they could’ve used Klaus better, he could’ve said the same speech but in The original’s house from S5, after he finished his speech he hears little Hope say” Dad” and Klaus ends the video. This is okay to .

I may not have liked legacies but Joseph delivered beautifully one last time as Klaus; and for that I’m thankful. I knew he’d come back for a goodbye somehow. I’m glad he gave Hope’s character the much deserved closure she truly needed.

I know the actor was filming something else so he couldn't be there in person, but I wish he wasn't projected on a bed sheet. I can't take it seriously. They could have edited him in better. But I'm glad Hope got some closure and we saw Klaus one last time.

Really happy to see Klaus and I know he was filming so he couldn't be there but I honestly wish we got to see him in person or have a different backdrop from the editing. I also wish we saw Hayley and Elijah at peace and possibly the other alive Mikaelsons and I think if Legacies knew from the bgeinning that this was the last season then it probably would have been more possible. Well, at least know we know Klaus is at peace watching over hope and my guess is Elijah is there at peace with Hayley.

Apparently, this is why it was done like this: "It just became a logistical battle, but he was very amenable to it and once he read the scene, he was very excited about doing it. He said, 'This feels right, I want to do this.'" Logistically, it became about sending the director up to Toronto to shoot him on a green screen. In a perfect world, we would have put Hope and Klaus together, and they could have had a real scene. That was obviously the pie-in-the-sky scenario. It quickly became obvious that COVID and the shooting schedule of Titans were not going to allow for that kind of thing without quarantines and blowing up their production schedule. Luckily, we're a magical show and you're willing to accept a lot in that moment, I think, to have that moment. [It was] logistically challenging, but emotionally and story-wise, certainly the right move and worth moving heaven and earth to happen."

I'm truly going to miss this show looking at Hope every episode seeing how actually hope is so beautiful she blossomed into a COMPLETE KNOCKOUT I didn't mind any other cast members some of them I did like and some I couldn't stand
