Legacies "SCREW ENDGAME" (S2E5 REACTION!!!) 

Hope’s sad face when Lizzie didn’t hug her at the start always gets me. And I absolutely adore the hug at the end of the episode! Love Hope and Lizzie, on their own but especially in scenes together. Their dynamic is EASILY my favorite on Legacies! That MG, Sebastian, and Kaleb scene always makes me laugh! Kaleb’s “hey buddy” is just so funny 😂. 6:04 I love that you actually jumped when Lizzie got electrocuted If only Alaric made a Bartemus Crouch Jr joke instead of Fumbledore… I’ve never thought about BBQing a Minotaur before but now I am. Love how much Hope and Lizzie understand each other. Lizzie knows why Hope is deflecting, choosing to ignore what’s really going on, and trying to find distractions (like Hope bringing up that Lizzie is hallucinating a boyfriend, hoping for Lizzie to get derailed and just talk about that instead of accepting that she needs to tell everyone who she is and what happened to her. Lizzie’s face of ‘really Hope?’ before getting shot in the neck with a poison dart is so funny to me. And then Lizzie even says “I know you don’t want to think about this but” and keeps telling Hope the brutal truth). Lizzie is very observant, shown in this episode very well. Lizzie knows Josie and Landon are filling voids left by Penelope and Hope, Lizzie can see Raf is a mess after being a wolf for months, Lizzie can tell Alaric is lonely, Lizzie keeps telling Hope to not be a martyr and that nobody has been better off without her, and Lizzie outsmarted The Keeper just like she outsmarted The Jinni in 1x10! Sorry but after that conversation MG and Sebastian had, I will never ship MG with Lizzie. Sebastian said “not even if I can give you what you want? Elizabeth Saltzman all to yourself, without my competition” and MG tells Kaleb “he’s just getting to the good part”…ew. They’re treating Lizzie like an object, not a person. MG needs to get over his one sided crush, it’s starting to get really creepy imo. Alaric would be proud that Lizzie had a one time shot and actually took down a Minotaur with a bow and arrow! Plus I love that Lizzie is shown to constantly protect Hope from threats (seen in 1x11 when Josie was going to send a fireball at Hope and seen here with Lizzie shooting the Minotaur to protect Hope)! “We’ve had enough of women hurting other women for one day” gosh Rebekah would love Lizzie! I do appreciate that Hope and Lizzie realize that to live their own lives they have to let go of Landon and Josie, respectively. Especially with where the show goes, it’s fun to rewatch this episode and see the real groundwork for that being laid out. Plus I love the Hizzie hug, “I’ll stop the world and melt with you” playing in the background, and Lizzie just being honest and saying she is glad to have Hope back. Hope looks so happy when Lizzie hugged her and said that! Favorite dynamic on Legacies right there!

I love how dramatic Clarke is like there really was no reason to become a headmaster lol he just did it for fun to scope out the scene

This episode was fun, the video game part was funny, and it was nice to see Hope and Lizzie's relationship develop. I'm conflicted - Josie and Landon are adorable together, but I see him as Hope's lol but Josie deserves to be with a good guy like Landon.

This was a fun ep! Loved the 80s theme and Lizzie/Hope bonding lol. Lizzie shines this season, she is so funny. This is def. when she became my favorite character I think. Josie/Landon ewwwwww. Can we stop now? I wont stop complaining about this. I'm glad they didn't have sex! I loved the small mention of Raf inviting Hope to the dance but I really need him to have more scenes. He deserves a storyline. I did however LOVE the small hafael moment at the end of the episode. Kaleb had a great episode. And I loved the scenes with Sebastian and MG, they were so funny. I wasn't sure what to think of Sebastian and whether he was actually bad or not lol. The Alaric/Indiana Jones costume was great. I KNEW back then when I watched that there was SOMETHING up with the Headmaster and that there was a cloaking spell thing going on... didn't expect it to be Clarke though!
