Lizzie and Josie have a psychic connection to each other. Josie did black magic with Hope and Lizzie felt the effects of that black magic - resulting in Lizzie throwing up black goo. Lizzie didn’t want to throw up. Josie doing black magic made Lizzie sick. If one twin feels something, so does the other. Hope has to die to activate her vampire side. Right now she’s just a witch and a wolf (a werewitch lol). Hope is just walking around with vampire blood coursing through her veins constantly, once she dies she goes into transition. Fun fact, the actress that plays Dana was in S4 TVD. Elena fed on her in the school bus and stole her cheerleading bow 😂 A detail I always love in this episode is how Lizzie reacts to being bullied. Lizzie takes it, bites back a bit, but is not violent at all (like Lizzie told Alaric in 1x01, she never wants to hurt anyone). It’s not until Dana calls Josie a loser that Lizzie resorts to violence, by punching Dana in the face. Lesson for everyone: don’t mess with Lizzie’s family, she will resort to violence QUICKLY (and as you’ll see later, Lizzie gets that from her father).
As far as the twins go, just remember that their family comes from the Gemini coven. Remember them? Remember what happened to their mother (Jo) because their uncle (Malachai Parker, Kai for short) was a psychopath? It’ll come back to you brother.. 😏
One thing about the show is that it self aware of all the crazy things that’s happening… legacies is more like that final season of TVD like the sirens and Cade (the devil & Hell)
I’d love to hear your predictions for the plot of this show. I think S1 had the most cohesive plot and some cool ideas. 26:55 That’s true! Man, the Teen Wolf lacrosse games were iconic!
Love how they used the same Matt line from season 2, episode 12 "not now Dana" 😂😂 gotta watch & listen for little details & callbacks like that to the other 2 shows.
The monster of the week thing I love, but there is also a bigger picture, which I think the show does well. The show picks up imo around ep 4 and just gets better and better. Season 1 imo is the strongest of the four. Hope and Lizzie are imo the best characters. Lizzie is just the comic relief and Hope is just a badass. I also loved the relationship between Hope and Alaric in season 1, they had some great father/daughter type bonding moments.
Yeah man when the Gemini coven twins turn 22 the ritual must take place & one twin absorbs the other..... Jo & Kai and Luke & Liv on TVD.... they still have like 6 years to go....
i’m telling you jer.. watch for hope! watch for the twins and alaric! you will begin to love mg and everyone else… it’s the storyline that trips people but hang in and watch these characters really grow! it’s the last we get of the universe 😭
