Great program. Was in the army 79 to 81 I still believe we had one of the best army's in the world. Living in the uk and part of the legion our special forces are held in high regard by the British forces.

Thank you all for this glimpse into the massive effort of preparation that went into this very successful operation. I was fortunate enough to meet a number of special forces operators in that period and all were extremely professional but also down to earth, humble guys. Antw: • 4 Recce het ten tye van Opeasie Ginger nie oor ervare spesialis verk spanne beskik nie. Die BGSM het dus besluit dat n spesialis verk span van 1 Recce die landwaartse verk moet doen • Ten tye van Operasie Amazon het 4 Recce nie oor genoegsame operateurs beskik om die Raid te doen nie. • Soos Tuffy in episode 2 noem was 4 Recce dun op die grond en moes die beskikbare operateurs die bote beman. • 1 en 4 Recce het vir baie jare nou saamgewerk met 1 Recce wat die Raiding spanne verskaf het en 4 Recce die bootspanne. • Daar moet onthou word dat Spesiale Magte baie operasies uitgevoer het en baie keer baie operasies gelyktydig (land, see en lug) wat die mannekrag getap het. Vir die rede het die eenhede nou saamgewerk • Tipiese seewaartse operasies soos OP Drosdy ( onderwater duikoperasie) is deur 4 Recce uitgevoer. • Die BGSM (bevelvoerende generaal spesiale magte) het besluit watter eenheid n taak moet uitvoer.
