Legacy Deluxe POINTBLANK: EmGo's Transformers Reviews N' Stuff 

I understand they were trying to do a more original toy accurate Target Master, but they should have just included a WFC style Battle Master. In the past 5 years between TT and Hasbro we now have 3 different styles of Target Masters. This one is the outlier.

I can't wait to get my mitts on this dude. Hopefully this means a new Sureshot and a Crosshairs who isn't an Ironhide redo.

The arm conversion reminds me of Armada Blurr. With Legacy doing Armada stuff, (Starscream, Hot Shot, a teased Optimus and rumoured Megatron) I could see this figure being made into Blurr.

At first glance I assumed that the little fella would be able to sit inside the clear plastic canopy when in car mode like some of the headmaster used to do. *kicks dirt*

He feels so different from the rest of the line so far. Seems like a completely different scale for his simplicity. Definitely is a big deluxe though.

He is so 90's with those shoulders. I love it.

The end-skit illustrates a weird quirk with Pointblank - both this version and the G1 original always looked a bit tall in the body to me... but if you compare him to Prime (for example), you'll see that Pointblank's hands are nearly level with his hips, hanging just below like a human being's would, while Prime's are about halfway down his thighs. So ironically, although I was about to say "Pointblank's body is too long!", it turns out he just _looks_ wrong because the average Transformer is out of proportion. So Pointblank is actually a more anatomically-correct design than most Transformers!

I have seen a cartoon show of point-blank as a big piece of other transformers it kinda like when he is combined with a firetruck part of the other bots do y'all remember a show that a transformer with kids and some of the people could combine making bigger giant transformer

I din't know peacemaker joined the autobots, I gues he was done with the scuicide squad.

I have the original version of this target master.

I cannot wait to add this one to my Collection Legacy Pointblank will look nice next to my G1 version.

I guess this might have been for "honoring" the olden days, but I don't see the point that after the battle masters from the previous line hasbro reverted the gun back to g1 "transforming configuration"

I think this one will be heavily remoldet into Punch/Counterpunch, the shoulderpads just seem to be screaming for that figure

Shame peacemaker can’t attach to pointblank’s wrist I mean peacemaker has another peg on him to possibly do this

I would have 100% much rather them have given the blue engine/spoiler/shield piece as the accessory and made the targetmaster a separate core class figure.

This was really the only G1 figure I had/have. I was just too late for G1 but the perfect target for Beast Wars. But I still wound up with Pointblank I think from a garage sale. I always loved that figure as a kid but never really got more... Well I guess I did get a couple G2 Arielbots. But PointBlank was really my only non-Beast Wars Transformer I cared about. So I had to get this guy once I saw him. He just arrived from BBTS. Not as good as other figures (also my first Legacy figure thanks to money) but I am satisfied. He's going to live on my desk and make me smirk for quite a while.

I remember getting this guy for Christmas the year he 1st came out, think I might get him again this year hehe.

This was my only G1 Autobot Targetmaster. So glad to see it come back, way less of a plastic brick now too!

I love the way the arms work on this guy.

I feared this being a retool/redeco of Punch-Counterpunch. Very glad it isn't, should go very nicely with Generations Scoop and Siege Crosshairs.

Compared to yesterday, that was a big ass BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH !!!

This feels so much like g2 Rapido, which I have a soft spot for, even though its not anywhere near the same transformation

Very surprised Peacemaker wasn't a separate Core Class figure. I wonder if that was the best decision, since it takes away from the budget for Pointblank.

I Like Pointblank. But very disappointed by the targetmaster Peacemaker, having no articulation. They could have simply repainted one of the battle master figures and add a peg hole on top of the vehicle. Or just make the peg hole and release Peacemaker as a separate legends figure (even if it was a repainted battle master I'd be happy). We can only hope Takara does with him what they did to the Decepticon targetmasters: adding actual targetmasters to them. Looking if the Takara Legends Jumpstarters are still available (as they came with Peacemaker & Spoilsport), but only been able to find it for insane prices. But even then, the lack of a 5mm port on top means you can't attach it on the top of the vehicle. I do hope they will do a Sureshot next. The Croisshairs works fine for me despite being a repaint. Also the double targetmaster Autobots need some love. We got Scoop years back and he needs his buddies Quickmix and Landfill. We also need a Quake that actually looks like a normal tank.

I had a g1 point blank. Seriously considering picking this up. I’m making a display of some of my favorites and he qualifies.

Im rather fond of old point blank, he was my first transformer.

I'm on the fence with this figure. He looks cool, the empty legs are forgivable, but that Targetmaster is very disappointing. Couldn't they repaint/retool a Battlemaster?

At least the 4 wheels all looked the same in this toy

I don't have a G1 Pointblank either. Heck, I don't even have a Legacy Pointblank.

I just got this figure today, and I'm trying him out; he's fun to play with, but with transformation there's a bit of problems clearing some of his other parts to get them to tab in *just* right. He's in one of those wal-mart 2-packs, and right now, they're blowing them out for $17.

MY FAVORITE AUTOBOT TARGETMASTER

Hope this message makes it before your eyes, Emgo! I know you've said in the past that you don't want to get in to collecting the Newage Legends-scale figures, but you really need to check out NA H45 Firefox. I don't have the space for a full-sized Skyfire/Jetfire, but this figure is phenomenal! If regular NA figs are close to 3.75in size, this thing is more like a 6in action figure due to scale. Excluding combiners, I think it's the largest single Legends-scale figure yet. Seriously, if you can still get hold of him, please do. I'd love to see your thoughts in a review.

I always liked Pointblank's design, so I'll be getting this figure, but I still hope to one day find Maketoys' Pointblank.

I think he looks great. But those elbows are terrible. It would have been nice to have wrist rotation. I can live with the hollow legs. Transformation is good. Alt mode is cool. I find Peace Maker frustrating. He’s well sculpted. But if the Titans masters from Titans Return could raise their arms then any new target masters should be able to. There is virtually no improvement for him from his G1 version

Curious but does anyone remember the car form of blurr in armada and the three generic cars in cybertron of the same design, imagine if the velocity line decided to remold pointblank as that version of blurr or those three nameless cars in cybertron like a new line of figures following the starscream seeker mold esthetic as in multiple molds and new original characters cause in my opinion id definitely buy the whole line especially for seeing armada blurr redone in newer years

I think the only issue i would have with this would be the elbow articulation, couse i prefer some static poses that base mostly on arms, but other than that it's really good. O love the overall design, and the hollow spaces don't really bother me all that much. And i just love the colours, red and sky blue is one of my favourite combinations

This is 100% getting retooled into armada Blurr. I hope a 3rd party upgrade will fix his arms and his missing spoiler weapon

That weaponizer is so sad

the targetmaster is basically the G1. there are minicon that are much more articulated while doing the same thing the rest of the figure is somewhat underwhelming, it's almost there but just, not quite, between the knee, elbow and shoulders definetivelly not the best to come out of legacy

I thought the little robot would be able to ride inside him in car mode but I guess not. I guess that is only for headmasters not the target masters.

He’s overall pretty decent, but that lack of bicep movement is unforgivable IMO I can live without a waist swivel, but bicep/upper shoulder articulation is a requirement for me.

Don't like this Peacemaker. They could have just reissued the actual G1 version and save the development time it took to make him. And the arms are badly designed to a shocking degree.

Pity he wasnt compared to his Targetmaster colleague, Crosshairs.

My copy's arm-halves [8:36] didn't snap together quite right, I think the tab was a little off-centered so it didn't fit correctly into the slot. I used a utility knife to remove a little plastic from the tab, so now it fits a lot better. The background music sounds familiar, where is it from?

Looks like they used that crappy gummy/ candy looking red plastic for that.

Has anyone else who collects transformers, always windered why we always put the weapon in there right hand or is it the left lol. Been doing it since i was a kid snd the thought only just Crossed my mind now lol pointy boi has a neat transformation...so i only just found this guy

okay I really, really like his alt mode, and honestly the more limited articulation doesn't hugely bother me since he seems to get a fairly good range of motion comparable to most modern deluxes.

I could see them retooling him into Armada Blurr at some point for sure.

I'm actually pretty disappointed with what we got in him... I've not seen him yet (lets face it, I haven't even found a freaking Bomb-Burst or Skullgrin yet), but I was quite happy when it was found to be in the works. Then we see the really rough looking pelvis area, and now reviews come out and show his articulation is limited in a line that they've touted the articulation of. I honestly think they could have added a bicep rotation had they just elongated the upper arm and vehicle front end to allow for the swivel, and to boot that would possibly have improved the elbow bend to boot.
