I was watching old videos of bennyhillz, boshnroll, both had lots of ugh and umms. You also do. Hope you improve, makes it more enjoyable. Took them years fwiw to conpletely stop.
I'm surprised you're not playing Contagion as it triggers Up The Bean Stalk and can often kill two creatures for what effectively is one card with UTB out (or two if you have two UTBs out).
Yes. You're correct that I could have held up fatal push but usually my doomsday opponents draw their deck before the trigger, so that they win even if you have removal. I figured I had another turn before they would attempt to cast her, and I wanted to draw into more disruption.
Hydro is still really strong against Moon Stompy, Initiative, Painter, and Delver. I am confident it should still be a 3-of and I don't know what I'd replace it with that would also be relevant in so many matchups.
I wouldn't mind seeing some esper vial doing leagues even if poor results as long as its esper vial and not yorion vial; i have utter contempt for that. Compared to many of your fellow legacy streamers you don't play that slow, i.e. Brian, Bryant, Phil, and Cyrus timeout nearly ever game even if playing a low decision low click deck like burn. Your pacing isn't bad and you don't overly dither while you are going to naturally play slow given narration. My only critique on that is you run afoul of the paper player habit, which forever annoys me, of moving cards around constantly in your hand. It wastes time both in paper and online and is completely unnecessary, its just fiddling. Lastly on a UI thing, your turn box in the middle of the screen drives me nuts, would prefer it in its default location. Like it adds no value hence doesn't need the prominent display as all the interactions with it 99% of the time are just hotkeys anyways. Appreciated watching you though, good content and i enjoy how you don't overlay your face on the screen.
Haha thanks for the feedback. I may film some Esper Vial videos soon, though it will almost certainly be the Yorion version since Yorion is so strong I just think it's correct to play it - even though I agree it's annoying. I move cards around in my hand to represent play sequence. For example, if I want to pitch a Brainstorm to a FoW, I will put it to the right of that FoW. This helps me not have to remember what I was planning to pitch. And I like to sequence my land drops from left to right as well. Regarding the UI box, I am constantly reading the text in that box, and I need to notice when something pops up. I wish I could just leave it over on the far left, but I often miss priority passes. Something about being a dude in his 40s with bad vision. 😆
