It is definitely good to have a special department for remembering all the legal stuff that the businessperson might be too busy to remember.

This is great information to have. I have a whole department dedicated to legal issues at my job and they just get sent up the chain of management depending on the issue.

It is interesting to see the legal aspect behind HR and the different legal pitfalls that they have to avoid.

If you are lucky you have an in house attorney that can really help with a lot of the sticky legal situations.

it is unfortunate that discrimination is such a common issue in the work place, and it creates a hostile enviroment.
