Check his deleted dialogue, Kaiser basically says it dosent matter who hunts him, even new gods he can and has dealt with. But bro was getting hunted by old gods which is the reason he fell back to the bunker
@koneserchleba2137 no, the old gods have no direct influence on the world and the series goes through great length to explicitly state it alot. Even the rher moon we see in game is traces of the old god, and it is an automatic event that happens not directly actioned
@@beebop9712idk much about terminas lore but most of the old gods have left the realm leaving only fragments behind. I believe All mer, the sulfur god, and the moon are the only gods left, and since the sulfur cult is hunting kaiser down, he retreated to the bunker.
It's more so because the old gods began hunting him specifically Rher And while he can kill stitches and all that we the sulfer cult we all know what happens when you challenge an old or ascended god
Le'Guard isn't afraid of needles he isn't even scared of new gods (remember that in fear and hunger 1 he massacres almost the entire fellowship) he's scared of sulfur and rher
I also think it's important the he specifically chose somewhere underground to hide too, as it would provide protection from the echoes of Rher that Per'kele has at his command.

Does he (kaiser) know about sulfur and the true nature of termina? It always seemed to me that those two plots seem really disconnected; they barely interact let alone acknowledge the other's existence. Also with the conclusion of b or the c ending couldn't kaiser just reactivate logic on his own? Shouldn't pocketcat want to stop kaiser or sulfur? Given the jealous nature of rher, but then rher is long gone so why is the cat still collecting heads and helping you win termina?
Question 1: Yes, he not only knows about the true nature, but is actively syphoning power from the festival to run Logic. Question 2: Since he needs vast power to start up Logic, he'd likely struggle to get it without the power from the echo of Rher or the Sulphur god. Also, the Kaiser showing up to two festivals would likely draw too much unwanted attention. Question 3: Pocketcat likely doesn't know as much about Rher as the Sulphur god, being just a creation and not a peer. He's more of a manifestation of (the echo of) Rher's jealousy of Lagarde's prophecy, and because of that only cares about kidnapping children and causing mischief. Question 4: Pocketcat is only really there to ensure the festival ends with a survivor, betting on it to be Daan (for a snazzy new body). In fact, if Daan dies early on, Pocketcat doesn't even show up.
He can survive a nuke to his face, defeath armies, lift millions of tons with no effort and he can't defeath a few cultists and a giant worlf? He either a fraud or he know to us the players will do it for him or he wait for Termina to finish and get the job done.
The guy literally leeched off of the traces of the power of an old god and created a machine to end mankind's suffering by granting them artificial divinity, but whatever you say, pal :)

I thought Legard had allied with the Sulphur cult(because he need Rher’s power and Sulphur people can manipulate divinity that is not their God’s, which is why Termina has been happening non stop for weeks) so it seems the negotiations broke at some point to make things reach this point.
