Wanted to post a one year review of my 2022 Legend Boats XTE SC 16’6” with a 90hp Mercury 4 stroke.
This boat has been running amazing and put me in some great spots with ease. Below I’ll list the set up, mods and any info that seems necessary.

Motor - Mercury 4 stroke 90hp

Your take on the boat is spot on. I have the same but with the sport so I have the folding back seats. I also have the 90. Since I have the back seats I do take myself and 3 passengers once in a while. That's where I'm glad I opted for the 90. Rod storage is my biggest gripe. Other than that it rides great

Appreciate it! The 90 is a great option for sure. No regrets on that upgrade at all. Yes rod storage is a give and take for sure. I generally lay all of mine down between the base of my seat towards the back of the boat with the handles tucked between the seat the the opening of the rod locker door and they stay tucked pretty good on the way out and in. I put a small Velcro wrap to the right of the wind shield that can tie down rods I have at the front while I’m fishing and running quick to the next spot. They lay from the right side of the foot pedal out and up to the dash and it’s been a great 2 dollar add on for me!
