Thank you, brother, Akira Miyawaki. I am an environmental science student with just under two years left, I will take a job and with my earnings, I will purchase land and replant and grow the forest that has been destroyed by our past ignorance. I will also try to educate the young to understand that we humans are from nature and should live in harmony with nature. Once again, "thank you".

Akira Miyawaki the veteran Japanese ecologist is a legend whose afforestation method is adapted world wide.The best thing which Mr. Miyawaki is doing is that he is involving toddlers in the process of nature conservation thereby creating an army of future environmentalists.This grandpappys valuable teaching could be effective in fighting the horrors of global warming.

I think that we can use Dr miyawaki afforestation to green along side paths of both railways and roadways in India to reduce carbon footprint and entrust the local villagers to resp benefits out of these forests along highways which will surely become Greenways.

Hello !!! Can i use a little part of the images of Miyawaki planting a tree in that video ? Its not the plain image but a man i film who works for a reforestation association is looking at this video on his iphone and we can see a bit of akira miyawaki. Its a report for french public television broadcast in the french news about tiny forests... thanks very much for accepting ! Aurélia CHOPIN - journalist at France télévision
