In 1959, the Great American Railroad was terrorized by a vengeful spirit. This is the story of what happened.
This project was not easy to make, but I persevered and made it through the process. Without my voice actors and the support from others, I would not have been able to make this film possible. So thank you all!

7:35 For train lovers like me, it’s so sad seeing 566 *(or Jefferson)* screaming in horror as he gets scrapped. I almost dropped to the floor and had an emotional breakdown. Was I the only one who reacted lke this?

If you want my opinion Daniel's ghost is a mixture of the ghosts of Timothy, Clinchfield 311, and Alfred; if only he could've seen that some steam locomotives were preserved, that's an idea you should consider for a sequel, that some preserved steam locomotives that are owned by restoration groups and tourist railroads visit the railroad

I just watched this again. I forgot how much of a tearjerker it was. It was well worth a revisit. I usually hang out in the Thomas fandom but it’s great to see work like this using other railways and layouts. I loved it then, and adore it now.

@@ChowderTDMOFCAL They're HO Scale. Kimberley and Jefferson are Bachmann models, Jedediah is an old Mantua model, the rest I am unsure of as they were pre-owned models.

Edward is a mixed traffic engine that was built in 1896. He’s from The North Western Railway. Paul: Just what we need. Another heap of scrap. Right, Vance? Vance: I heard all about you, Edward. Could you give me some wise advice? Edward: *Chuckles* I would love to. But I have a lot of work. Paul: You’ll just wear yourself out and fall apart. Edward: Oh dear. I don’t think Sir Topham Hatt would tolerate that behavior if he saw you. And I know that Dispatch would never agree with your current behavior. Steam engines came long before diesels. Steam engines were very popular back in the 19th century. For years, steam engines have ruled the rails. Until the 1960s when all steam engines were replaced by diesel locomotives. My kind was withdrawn by the 1930s and scrapped. I am the one and only remaining member of my class. Dispatch: A very tragic story, Edward. Your friends are at the shunting yards with Jebediah. Edward: I’m on my way. *Pumps his pistons, sounds his whistle and chuffs away with a smile* Paul: •_• At the yard... Edward: Hello, everyone. Thomas and the others: *Whistle to Edward* Edward: Strange... Where’s this “Jebediah” fella at? Jebediah: *Puffs up beside Edward* Sorry I’m late, my good fella. I’m not in shape like I used to be. Edward: You’re a steam engine as well? How fascinating. Jebediah: A 4-4-0 ex-Furness Railway K2 class locomotive. Those types have stopped working since 1931. Edward: I’m the only remaining survivor of my class. Oh! Where are my manners? Let me introduce myself properly. *Clears his throat* Hello. My name is Edward. I am the Number 2 on The Island of Sodor that works on The North Western Railway. I am a 4-4-0 ex-Furness Railway K2 class locomotive that was designed by William Frank Pettigrew and built by Sharp, Stewart and Company of Glasgow for the Furness Railway. I was built on February 2nd, 1896. I am 125 years old. I arrived on Sodor in 1915 at age 19. I’ve been working on Sodor for 106 years. Jebediah: A pleasure, Edward. I’m Jebediah. Edward: *Smiles, gets to work and helps his friends* *Busy Station Theme from Season 1 of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends plays in the background.*

Except this engine right here. Paul: Hey look, Vance. A coffeepot engine. Vance: 😒 ?????: I have a name. And it’s Glynn. ??? ?????? ????: And I am Sir Topham Hatt. And I’m in charge of this railway. Paul: Looks slow and useless. I’m gonna find some diesels. *Rolls away* I’ll let ya catch up later, Vance. Sir Topham Hatt: Is he always like that? Vance: I’m afraid so. He thinks steam engines have wore their usefulness out. Take Old Man Jebediah for example. Paul thinks he deserves to be cut into scrap. My bullying is just verbal. Paul takes things too far. Kimberly: We’re pleased time meet you, Sir Topham. Allow us to introduce ourselves. My name is Kimberly. The engine that rolled away was Paul. The one on my left is Vance. And on my right is Jebediah. Sir Topham Hatt: I remember Jebediah. My great grandfather told me about him when I was a child. Jebediah visited Sodor in 1915. He was very quick and very respectful to the smaller engines. He left in 1959. Welcome back to Sodor, Jebediah. Jebediah: Thank you, Sir Topham. And it’s good to see you, Glynn. I wanna meet the other engines. *Feels someone bump him from behind* ?????: Watch it, Old Timer! Kimberly: Sir Topham, is that a Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Class 28? Sir Topham Hatt: Indeed, Kimberly. That is James. Kimberly: A 4-4-0 ex-Furness Railway K2 class locomotive. ??????: Hello. Kimberly: H-Hello... Sir Topham Hatt: That’s Edward. One of my older engines. He is 125 years old. Edward: May I ask who you are? Vance: I’m Vance. Jebediah: My name is Jebediah. Kimberly: And I’m Kimberly. Edward: *Looks at Kimberly* Nice to meet you. Kimberly: The pleasure is all mine, Old Reliable. Edward: “Old Reliable”... I haven’t heard anybody call me that since 1900. Kimberly: I was taught to respect my elders. Wait a minute... You’re 125 years old? Edward: Yes. I become 125 on February 2nd. Jebediah: You were built in the year 1896? Edward: I was. The 19th century was all about steam engines on The Mainland. Until, the 1960s... I’m the only remaining survivor of my class. Vance: What happened to the others? Edward: They were withdrawn from service in the 1930s and were scrapped. Back in 1911, they were gonna begin scrapping all of the 4-4-0 ex-Furness Railway K2 class locomotives in 20 years. They would start with me in 1915. On July 20th 1915, my crew fired up my firebox and I set on a long quest. I arrived on Sodor on July 28th, a whole year after World War I started. I was the first engine to arrive. I met Jebediah. When I met him, he wasn’t cruel and boastful when we first met. He was kind and humble. And he- Vance: Sorry to cut the story short. But don’t we have jobs to do? •3• Jebediah: Oh yeah! I almost forgot! Our jobs!

I like this video, well some green screen effects are not good, but some angel shot and sound design is pretty good. The characters and story is definitely the best part, there's even some truly scary moments too, such as the torch scene. it's not a flawless masterpiece, but it is a decent story that have it's ups and down. And I respect it for this.

I don't really feel bad for Paul, but for the shunter.😔 Vance atleast had some manours so power to him I guess.😊 In the end our dear ghost technically survivesinto preservation, though in the most unusual sense you can imagine.😆

Rhys Griffin Consolidations are underrated engines. Thomas & Friends never makes characters out of them. The only time in media they’re used in: Runaway, a 2009 animated short, and this video.
