The team makes a major discovery that leads them back into fish creek for further investigations.
The Superstition Mountains are located in Apache Junction, Arizona. Within the wilderness, the Lost Dutchman Mine has remained hidden, with up to $200 million in gold. Wayne Tuttle, Frank Augustine, Woody Wampler, Eric Deleel, and Eric Magnuson set out into the Superstition Mountains on History Channel’s Legend of the Superstition Mountains to search for the infamous gold mine in 2015. Growing restless waiting for a second season, Wayne and Frank decided to continue their search in the Superstition Mountains on RU-vid, filming videos of their treks into the mountains. The team now engages in treasure hunting and gold prospecting in the Superstition Mountains, searching for Ted DeGrazia’s lost paintings and investigating strange stories and mysteries of the Superstition Mountains.

California calla these grinder holes "Gossip Rocks!" They ground on flat surfaces also with flat rocks. Look for small, 12" by 16", smooth depressions (+/-).

The trail goes through the past not the present. Take the trail up Horse Mesa that Ely took and consider his words regarding his day there. There are signs along the way that point.

The tree had two sets of initials and beneath it you can read “4 E (ever)” the plus sign was probably there to divide the two initials. ❤️

Adding this here since i got a notification on a post but it will not let me reply to it for some reason. The person in red you inquired about was walking towards me. It was the only person we have run into in Fish creek canyon in the last two years. He had camped in the canyon and we stopped and talked for a few. You can hear us speaking and briefly see him afterwards.

Old cartridges tell a story. Most important, date, and weapon. Find a Waltz shotgun shell and your golden. I wonder who ended up with Jacob Waltz's shotgun? I have no faith in the dousing rods/superstition. I like gold under big rocks though. Great show. Wayne, I think you ruffled some anti-smoking nazis feathers from Lah-Lah land. Politically incorrect. My God Frank! ....that bone wasn’t human, and that belt buckle isn’t an eagle... 🙄 Re: those “grinding holes,” that rock that they are in looks pretty weathered. If you’ve ever wanted to grind something on top of a rock, you’d want to grind on a rock that didn’t break apart from the grinding action. Especially if for food purposes, otherwise you’d be eating sand. Same thing if you tried to grind up rock on weathered rock...you could potentially lose trace elements in your grind hole and if you had to pull everything out by hand you could miss stuff too, especially considering the most I’ve seen you get so far has been flour gold or flakes at the biggest so far...

I have a thought about Frank's map and the Peralta Stone that is heart shaped. What if you superimposed the markings on the heart shaped stone into the heart in the center of his map. If you notice, there are no markings inside of the heart on his map. It could possibly lead to something else... EDIT: I was also wondering if anyone has checked in any of the creek beds or rivers that are not seasonal in the area? You can purchase waterproof coils for those metal detectors, if they are not already. Just a thought...Keep up the great work! I just found you guys earlier this evening, but I am loving it. Hailing from Millsboro, Delaware.

Thought they found a ladder and cave that smelled like ammonia from bats and traveled by boat to get to this location in the history channel episodes and cave was burial tomb? Then the show went off air never to be filmed again like 1 season only? And the retired cop was scared to go along and stayed in the boat and tried contacting the group with those little walkie talkies that never work anyway,just saying.
