Why is everybody getting mad at this poor man for getting some things wrong? Number one, I don't care if he says oak or ock. If you understand him, then there is nothing to say. Second, doesn't everybody get at least some things mixed up sometimes? This guy did a good job on this video, so I think you should treat him nicely.
It's the internet very few nice people on here. Though I do find it funny how something so trivial upsets them. I have thick skin so it does not bother me. I do appreciate your kind words. Thank you.
Why does everyone care about how he pronounces Ocarina? I have heard people pronounce it both ways and both time I never gave a shit. What you SHOULD care about though, is that he called the song of time the song of storms and he called zelda's lullaby the song of time. like come on.
Most of the video was to see how many people get triggered bitnthe song of storms part was because we kept joking about me playing song of storms to make it rain so thats where that slip up came from
Ah yes, playing our master Koji Kondo’s tunes with a toy that resembles the iconic instrument from the Legend of Zelda series published by Nintendo truly feels good
For that price you can just get a real ocarina. Sounds better and isn't limited to legend of zelda tunes. They're pretty easy to learn so I would highly recommend you get a real ocarina instead
I went nuts when I saw this at the game stop and had to have it, because I could never learn to play an instrument. I love it so much. Finally went even nutier and bought a real-io tru-lio ocarina. Thanks to you tube I found a nice one and they taught me how to play it💕
@saskiot OMG THANK GOD. i’m so happy you said that was the point, because i was going to feel really bad and like garbage if i made a comment saying you were pronouncing it wrong lol
@@saskiot I can definitely agree with how fun it is I got one from my dad on my birthday and man playing real songs on it is so cool and playing some zelda songs like the song of time is just so perfect to relax after things like school 👍
I tried playing songs for a girl, she told me to get lost in the woods. I played another song hoping she'd be back but before I knew it was suddenly night time. I played one more song but I was just left alone in the rain. If only I knew a song that could turn back time or take me away from here...
I have this exact electric Ocarina! It was one of my favourite gifts I recieved for my birthday! :). I also love how it comes with a little song booklet featuring the iconic melodies such as Song of Time for instance!
smashSpikeMC Yeah but the question is: does the person buying it wanna actually learn how to play an instrument or not. This is a good prop for anyone who doesn't.
I've whistled the song of storms the last 2 times it started to rain here and it actually stopped both times. Had I not just washed my car earlier in the week I wouldn't have tried. We need the rain =/
So are you American or Canadian? You called it Gamestop (Here it's called EB Games) which made me assume you're American, but then the instructions were in both English and French, which is unusual in the States. It's not impossible though. Nintendo/Gamestop may have just been trying to save money or resources on packaging so they bundled it for North America as a whole.
A lot of companies are starting to do that have everything shipped in North America with English and French to save money. I live in California and see it on almost everything.
This actually seems like a really uniquie idea. I've never seen an electric wind instrument before. I know this is a toy and the variations are very limited but it's a neat idea and should be expanded upon for flutes and various other wind instruments.
“That’s a waste of packaging! Ooh, Death Mountain.” Best quote ever Edit: lol I made this comment before I looked at all the comments that said the same thing
I've been working at GameStop since August, and when these came in (around the time this video was uploaded), I swear the first thing I did was press the buttons and was surprised the batteries were actually included. Next paycheck, I bought one and it's awesome. The free-style option is pretty neat too. Can play most stuff you can imagine if you get the notes right.
Also the small, empty box was to keep the Ocarina steady during shipping/storage, so it wouldn't flop around and get ruined. Sure, they could have done the packaging a little differently, but then it would probably not have looked as nice in the box.
ya sorry last time I played the game it was brand new on the N64. Then someone stole it. I was not about to pay another I think it was 70 or 80 to buy it again.
Sakura __Masashi go to thinkgeeks website there is many memorabilia to be had there my friend many exclusive fun things for many fandoms my only complaint is they almost never have the coolest stuff in stock and it takes them forever to get it back in.
That's an awesome collector's piece, but you can get a good sturdy plastic or clay one from STL Ocarina. They sound really nice and they're easy to play by ear.
This is a cool little collector's ock-arena*(ocarina), it won't teach you anything about a real ocarina for anyone wondering but it's still pretty dope, I like that it's like an ocarina shaped controller type beat and plays how you would in the game, it would be a bit cooler if it had a joystick to control the pitch, however you could just get a real 12 hole for about the same price or less online, it all depends on the amount of holes or range you want and what material it's made of, plastic is much lower priced and clay and ceramic are about the same, where things get more on the pricy side is when you get into double and triples, but I don't recommend them until you're at more advanced skill level, like a professional ocarina player type advanced and the lower the amount of holes the easier it is to play although I recommend a 12 hole to start even though it's a little more advanced so you don't sacrifice much in range.☮️❤️
Instead of a perfectly functional real ocarina you can now get a more expensive one made out of plastic that needs batteries with shitty sound quality. What a time to be alive.
This is pretty cool. I have a replica 6 hole Ocarina of Time. It’s awesome and sounds great(definitely not a cheap one lol), but using this might have actually helped me learn faster. Though that ones holes are closer to the 12 hole then the 6, but the concept is the same. Ah! Actually that might be closer to the 6 hole because the 2 holes on the side seem similar to the 2 holes that would be on the bottom of the 6 hole
