Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Trailer Reaction 

I think it would definitely be fun to watch the both of you play the first Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, and some of the other 3D Zelda games as well. They are all so fun and all have amazing stories.

When the first game was announced i started to save every coin i could have with 16 years, it's one of my favorite games of all time. The saga of The Legend of Zelda always are a little bit dark and creepy, and this one seems to be a little bit more than the first game. I would love to watch an "all cinematics reaction" of the first breath of the wild if it isn't in your plans to play it 😖Love your reactions💖

The 'witch' you saw is the mummified body of classic Legend of Zelda Bad Guy(TM) Gannondorf, and the hilarity of misidentifying him as a witch is so perfectly ironic. He was the only male born once every century or so to the all-female Gerudo tribe before the dark spirit within him chose to forgo reincarnation during a previous cycle which leads to the situation in Breath of the Wild; and, yes, solving the problem in the end of that game leads to the problem in the new game Tears of the Kingdom.

Apparently, the creator or someone said that this is supposed to be one of the darkest Zelda games yet, and that says a lot considering how dark Majora’s Mask, Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time were. Zelda doesn’t have too many on screen dark things, it’s more so what happened off screen, or the history and lore of something that’s really makes you think “something dark definitely happened here”

That collector's edition date saying 12.05.2023 was because that was on the Nintendo UK RU-vid channel. The United States uses mm/dd/yyyy but a good number of countries use dd/mm/yyyy model. So, both the regular game and the collector's edition is coming out on May 12th, 2023.

Fun Fact: Tears of the Kingdom marks the Zelda franchises 20th main installment. 36 years worth of games and we finally reached the twentieth main game. This isn’t counting spin-offs of course.

The witch has you called it is actually a he not a her lol. His name Ganondorf but also goes by Gannon when he is in his beast form. As far as the story goes no one really knows what's going on because Nintendo has been keeping it a secret but what we do know is that Ganondorf is the main villain who has been dead for centuries and now has returned. Ganondorf has always been the main protagonist of the Legend of Zelda franchise but was killed off in The Legend of zelda twilight Princess. The Legend of Zelda lore is kind of complicated to explain because it has three different timelines and each one of it's games fits in in one of the three timelines. But the jist of it is a long time their were 3 different goddesses that created the world called Hyrule and left another Goddess named Hylia to watch over it and protect it then a demon lord named Demise came and invaded and wanted to take control of Hyrule and long story short he was eventually defeated and he put a curse on the Goddess and the hero that defeated him that their bloodline will always be cursed to fight an reincarnation version of demise which is what Ganondorf is. He is a reincarnation of the demon lord demise. In almost every zelda game a new version of link the hero that defeated demise and zelda the reincarnation of the Goddess Hylia has to defend Hyrule and defeat Ganondorf the reincarnation of demise.

Here's the thing about this game it's filled with so much mystery. All we really know is that Ganondorf/Gannon has returned and is going to be the main villain. Other then that we really don't know much about the story of this game. Their are so many mysteries about this game and so many theories but no one actually knows what's really going on as far as the main story goes. Nintendo has been doing a great job on keeping the story a secret.

Theres one trailer missing here. Also the dates on the collectors edition is how they would read it in europe so its still coming out on the same day. So excited!

Breath of the Wild was my favorite Zelda game in a long time. Can't wait to play this. If you guys like Nintendo franchises, check out Pokemon sometimes (the games, not the anime). The latest generation is a good place to start. And maybe you guys should buy a Switch, cuz the treasure trove of games Switch has will surely blow your mind.

The figure who did the neck snap is one of the main villans of the entire Zelda series. His name is Gannondorf, and was supposedly killed in the previous games, but seems to be resurrected in some way in Tears of the Kingdom.

The date for the collectors edition is using European dating, as in the day is before the month so it’s still 5-12-23 not 12-5-23.

We don't know a huge amount about Tears of the Kingdom yet, which is the way the devs like it. But one thing people have noted, which fits with the darker tone you mentioned, is that Zelda's voice over at the start has always historically been one of belief and faith in Link that he can save Hyrule. The fact this time she says that she doesn't believe Link can do it is a bold break from tradition(where normally the story is a very optimistic one at the cost of realism you might get in more adult rpgs) and one that has a lot of people very keen to see if the story has gotten deeper and more grown up in other ways too. Either way Breath of the Wild was great and I'm very much looking forward to Tears of The Kingdom, May can't come soon enough!

You guys forgot to watch the second teaser that cam out during E3 2021. That one is easily one of the best trailers that have come out for the game, besides the latest one.

If Link doesn't punch something with the gauntlet so hard that it creates an explosion, I'm gonna be hella pissed. lol

This go round seems more connected than most Zelda titles tend to be, but you can still tell from Link's demeanor and attire that quite some time has passed. This game is also the first game that Nintendo has directly hit the SRS BSNS button right off the bat in quite a long time. It make sense to make the first game on a new system with a new engine and type of gameplay to start with everything else as you would kind of remember it (the first game is basically dragon's dogma + zelda), but now that Nintendo doesn't have to worry about game reception, they've decided to make thing decidedly more serious. If Zelda is captured this time, it looks she will actually power the dark ritual to an even greater height, so this game definitely has was different stakes than the first once.

I honest and truly think you'd both enjoy many of the Zelda games that are available. Should you decide to play any of them though you should know there are a few that are sequels to previous games or are events in different timelines. (I will not explain this because spoilers) Ocarina of time and Majora's Mask are two games to play together since MM is the sequel. Wind waker is followed by some ds games which I enjoyed but aren't as amazing as some of the others. Twilight princess is another fantastic Zelda game I think you'd both enjoy. And is technically a follow up to majoras mask. Breath of the wild is very different to the past Zelda games but still a fantastic addition to the series. There is also Skyward sword a game that turned many Zelda lore buff's, like myself, minds turning with how it changed things we all thought we knew well. (In a good way) There are of course many more games but I'll stop here. Should you decide to play any of the games, welcome in and have fun!

I'm truly worried about this game.... Breath of the Wild, was a risky production. Nintendo were very couragoues, because it's not usual for Nintendo to break with traditions, but they did it and it worked out. But since Horiton Forbidden West and also God of War Ragnarok, I have a big worry... because part 1 was sooo good in all games... that it can't get any better like that.... You can't make Mozart opera better, or Spaceballs funnier.... That's why I'm very worried that it will be crap... But just as much hope I have that it will be great... Fiftiy-fifty It is always the fight between the three chosen one's. Zelda, Link and Ganon(dorf)

Zelda and bayonetta are fantastic games to pick up a switch for (just not bayonetta 3 that one didn't turn out so good) That mummy in these trailers is the franchise villain basically. He's in different games set over thousands of years as he's constantly reincarnated in a different era

Didn’t know the trailer was out? My 40 y/o ass is so looking forward to this. Told my kids was night buying a switch till this came out. You know when this was due out 2 years ago and longer than four years in development development, for this began before breath of the wild hit shelves the back when the Wii U existed

Funny you mention a Zelda theme park, that’s actually happening, sort of. Nintendo has a deal with Universal Studios to make a Nintendo themed section for their theme parks.

Just to clear up the collectors edition stuff. It IS the same date. The confusing point is the date is writen in the american style with mm/dd/yyyy and the last one is "europe" style dd/mm/yyyy.

Only 3 months for this game to come and I can't wait, i'm streaming a marathon of playing the games all the way to breath of the wild and we're doing good progress

The date was in the way Europeans write dates... It still the same date just its flipped instead of 5/12/22.... To bad as far as i can tell it sold out extremely fast

So, what I theorize is that while it's a sequel to Breath of the Wild, this is actually the third game to Breath of the Wild. In 2021 we actually got a Hyrule Warriors game, which is a Dynasty Warriors game with Zelda characters. And because of the events that take place in that game there's no way it's not canon. During your last Batman Arkham Knight stream you said you love seeing your character get more and more stronger throughout the game. Well, Breath of the Wild is perfect for that, there's a reason we call if The Legend of Dark Souls, it is extremely hard at times, but as you keep playing, it gets easier and easier. Also this is the first time we ever hear Ganon speak. Breath of the Wild is the first to have Zelda, and Impa speak for the very first time. I've already planned a whole week of vacation for this game, and I'm so excited. Hopefully soon you get to experience Breath of the Wild.

A series that I love so much and right on Valentines Day too. The games really have changed through the years but I'll always love this series until the day I die and I'll definitely be another one of the fans who'll be streaming it when it comes out. =) Also that witch is another main returning enemy who's a big part of the franchise and that male voice could possibly be the voice for them which I have a hunch that I know who that voice belongs too and I'm super excited to find out if I'm right.

Not going to lie and give my complete honesty, I never played a Legend of Zelda game in ages, the last game I played was Twilight Princess for the GameCube. It was the most enjoyable experience for playing that is open world and story to music is just so beautiful. I can image this new one might do the same thing but more intense gameplay happening 😬 Also I believe that there is a complete video about the journey of Link throughout the beginning to now by showing opening scenes or a lore story video to help fill in information if you thinking of playing a Zelda game on the channel.
