Almost 2 years in but I've only counted less than 20 people who guessed the purpose of the Wind Waker icons. The answer: When the batons are fully powered up, a Super Medley happens. Comment if you got it before I gave the answer away.
The best part about this isn't just the amazing music, it's how much the guy clearly enjoys everything he's doing, he's just having fun and making something that sounds great. Rock on, String Player Gamer.
I will delete any comment that complains about a certain song or songs that they like that wasn't included in this medley. If you can't appreciate the existence of this at all as I have intended it, then I cannot tolerate your whiny attitude as well.
Hey! I was thinking that it sounded like that, but I thought I was crazy! XD I can imagine like you coming in from the right of the screen and we see you though the little peep hole type thing. XD
Linebeck’s theme takes me back to my childhood. Phantom hourglass was underrated and I think Linebeck is the best companion character, even above Midna
Section F is my favourite part of this entire medley. The part where it transferred from Song of Storms, to Dragon Roost Island to Gerudo Valley made me scream like a little girl filled with excitement
I cannot describe how satisfying this is. So many people attempt to do make medleys, and almost all of them fail. But this? THIS is how to properly do a medley, and that makes me very happy. You presented each theme in a recognizable format yet still put your own spin on it, interwove various melodies, transitioned smoothly and naturally without any awkward hiccups, and gave each piece the exact amount of time it deserved without letting any overstay their welcome. I tip my hat to you, give you all the internet cookies, whatever floats your boat. This is an exceptional piece of work, and I thank you very much for making it.
for literal decades i have scoured the internet and have listened to about half of the Zelda Orchestral covers out there. NEVER in my wildest dreams did i consider that one person with a greenscreen could out-do actual orchestra's & conductors. just enough comedy, near perfect song transitions and clearly such heart went into making this!
We would love to do something with you! The tenderness of nylons trings, the crisp beauty of the violin... like a spring morning still clinging to winter chill.
72HoursRemaining (Puts on Morpheus shades) I know exactly what you mean. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sNN070zQ-Cw.htmlm37s Anyway, re: collab, let's start by adding each other in FB, much easier to talk there in the future.
TrueSkyblueClouds It's ok. I did too. The outset island theme just hit me so hard with how nice and happy it is. Like you said, no words for how great it is.
+Skyblue_moo If you lived all of link's adventures, it's because you remember it's level amazingness. In this case, it's a normal reaction If not, then you've just found an amazing game with amazing musics, amazing community, amazing people, amazing story and freakin amazing first adventure-like gameplay who gives rule for the rest of all adventure's game. But in these two case, you are welcome to the crying*crew man
Wow, it's a amazing how much more badass the Gerudo theme sounds when it's deep trumpets and drums (which given the original is really saying something)
For such a generous sampling of tracks from across the entire series, it's surprising how ungrateful people can be. If your favorite song wasn't included, just be grateful that you have this much ^. Or, better yet, go make your own medley since you're obviously all that and a bag of chips.
John Martin just because I commented saying that I wish for him to play a song that wasn’t in the medley doesn’t mean I’m ungrateful, people are saying this because of this guy’s amazing skills, they just would have wished to hear it from THIS specific dude. I mean holy shit look at how he plays, its amazing.
Yes, the Viking Choir has been a staple in my videos that need chorale parts. :) Because there is something about vikings, historically known as brutal and macho men, singing effeminately that I find hilarious.
Ethan In Google Chrome, right click on the video and press "loop". Or, you can click on the url and type either "repeat" after "youtube" or "listenonrepeat" in place of "youtube"...
3:21 "Alright, Dark World Theme!" *Morning theme* "Wha?" *reads description* "DAMMIT, you got me!" Great job, though. Hard to believe this was all done by one person. I do remember the Spirit Tracks train theme being catchy, but considering I can't remember it off of the top of my head it must not have been that memorable.
This was the song that brought me here...what was it, 3 years ago? Time sure does fly. This remains to this day my absolute favorite piece, and the transitions and medleys continue to amaze me even as I listen now. Truly a masterpiece for the ages!
of the fan based legend of zelda fan versions this will always remembered as one of the best and most nostalgic ones. Thank you very much for bringing back such fond memories.
Whoa, i'm surprised I knew every song in this medley. I must be a Zelda master. But the true master here is you, sir! Your instrumental skill and video game knowledge are top notch and I thank you for creating such a wonderful medley!
Linebeck's theme sounds like what Linebeck thinks of himself. It's epic, it's suave, it gets all of the ladies attention! But in reality its a lot more wimpy and arrogant.
i used to listen to this nonstop in 6th grade, and now i'm going into college this year woah- just wanted to say that this is my absolute favorite zelda medley out there, and it's something i always come back to when i need a pick-me-up. thank you for your work!
Fantastic Medley! All of these amazing songs played perfectly! Due to that, I have decided to provide my own unique comentary! Legendary Hero! A legendary way to start off this medley! Hyrule Castle Theme! Dark, yet beautiful! Morning Theme! Except I'm listening to this at night! Outset Island! "Off we go!" ~ Mario Hehe... Beedle... "You played Saria's Song! I do not remember hearing this in game... but GREAT SCOTT that's a great theme! Dear Diary, I'm in a dungeon being attacked by a triceratops... Ballad of The Windfish.sgldshjdsaflkasdj... sorry I fell asleep ;P Hehe anyone get that? Song of Storms!!! HEEEEEELLLLL YEAAAAH! Bringing out the big guns! Dragon Roost Island!!! Yes I was waiting for this one... and now it's Gerudo Valley? INGENIUS!... and then followed by the Palace Theme... I LOVE IT! And now it's Gerudo Valley Roost! Holy... it's the three greats merged! Midna's Theme and Fi's Theme - Partner time! Ballad of the Goddess is here (Zelda's Lullaby backwards!) Nice! Dark World Theme (with those great trumpet countermelodies!) Dark Mountain Forest! Love that one! Kakariko Village... with a song like this, no wonder those two were dancing around a tree. Requiem of Spirit? Nabooru! Come to me! Final Demise! Now this is a nice sounding song! The dramaticness!!! Hyrule Field... Epona! Come here, we must ride with this background song more! Ocean Theme - King of Red Lions! Come here, we must ride with this background song more! And one Main Overworld Theme to rule them all! And one ending cheering to... wait it's over... dang... Well, that was a well spent 29:36 on my part! Also, I loved the way the trumpet section danced whenever they weren't playing, like Saria's Song! :D You, my friend, have earned a sub!
This is just... Wow. When I heard the Dark World medley I was just sitting here with the goofiest grin on my face. Fantastic, you've earned a subscriber.
That very slight Zelda's lullaby in song of healing gave me shudders. Oh who am I kidding, this entire medley gave me the chills!!! THIS IS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE AND I'M SAD I DIDN'T FIND IT SOONER. _Why do Zelda's lullaby and Ballad of the Windfish always bring me so close to crying though?!_
watching this fours years after it's release and it's just a lovely trip down memory lane, someone give this guy a medal because a lot of hard work went into this and any fan of the series can enjoy it even if their favorite didn't make the list. great job I really enjoyed it.

Dude, awesome! This brought tears to my eye's. I've never heard a TLoZ Medley with this much emotion put in it. Great work my friend, keep up the good work and fuck the haters! ^^
After i broke the replay button, i decided to fix it and break it over a googolplex, for THAT LINEBECK THEME CANNOT BE FORGOTTEN IN A MILLENNIA. Its a must like, must subscribe, you put much effort in this, cant blame haters, because we all once hated something, so...(But really, this is a masterpiece, one cannot simply hate).
fantastic composition. it takes a great deal of talent to play stringed instruments as is, but to also be able to multi task, and play 3+ others as well? that is truly impressive. I can't imagine the hours and hours of practice that must have went into the making of this piece. Superior work.
This is the most amazing thing I have ever heard. The song of healing was particularly great. Currently listening to this for the 12th time. Absolutely brilliant
You say spirit tracks is weak in gameplay and music but that's not true. Many people discredit spirit tracks. It's a great game and the realm overworld theme is one of my favorite songs in the Zelda series.
Aw. It's amazing, but I kind of wish there was some Spirit Tracks music in here. I agree with you that it's not very strong gameplay-wise, but in my opinion that game has some of the best music in the series, next to Wind Waker and Majora's Mask.
Experiencing this was a big part of what got me into music in the first place, some two years ago. Coming back to this, and feeling all the same things I did then... Maybe even crying a little again, it's all quite surreal. Very, very good cover; I memorized the entire medley, not even on purpose but simply from hearing it over and over.
This video discovery was the best part of my day today. Great presentation. I love the dancing Marios and also seeing Link's Awakening getting some recognition. Awesome work!
Holy Christ on a bike! SUBSCRIBED!! I loved every minute of this, but your rendition of Dragon Roost Island is by far my favorite I've heard. Then followed up by Gerudo Valley right after. Whoo! It gave me chills! Thank you so much for your labor of love in creating this masterful medley. I've been listening to it non-stop since I found it; As well as sharing it with all of my friends. Keep up the awesome work!!
Amazing musician. The fact you spend this much time playing each instrument as well as recording and editing.. Blown away. I still listen to this after a year from finding it and still play a lot of games to your music tracks. :D very well done sir.
The amount of time and dedication it took for you to make this, doesn't even scale to how rewarding and thankful my ears are to you. You did an amazing job, with a lot of jokes (James Bond) and a flawless representation of all titles. I am not a poster, I lurk around and watch videos. You actually managed to pull me out and give you my opinion. As a fellow musician I understand what it takes to edit a video like this, and balance out the best out of your instruments. Big work, I just bought your album. You deserve it, go far.
***** You hit the sensitive string if I may say so. All the work you did on this one and on next videos will surely be rewarded. Keep this up and success is ahead. Passion is there. :)
I REALLY enjoy all of the tracks, but the abundance of Windwaker's flawless songs in this piece gives this a 20/10.No Joke. This is almost as good as the orchestra. Thanks!
Ok, being a new watcher, I have a load of headcanon for what's really going on here. First, due to the outfit among other reasons, I have come to the conclusion that The Conductor is either a Time Lord, or is a hitherto unknown regeneration of The Doctor. This explains how The Conductor can raise a militia of miniature musical Marios to serve as his personal symphony. Time is at his disposal (and a TARDIS, too). The batons are all part of the fact that The Composer is also interacting with a highly advanced video game - sort of like Guitar Hero, only from a few millenia in the future. This musical game requires The Composer to conduct, and dance at the same time, which he's getting the hang of. However, this game fractures reality, thus why The Composer is aware of the Fourth Wall. Also, the First Violin looks a bit familiar. After watching various String Player Gamer videos and carefully observing details...I think we've found Waldo! He's been hiding in plain sight on RU-vid all this time. Anyone who says, "This is SPG in a Mario outfit with fake mustache and shades" clearly doesn't know what they're talking about. The lengths to which Waldo will go to not be found are quite extraordinary indeed. Seriously though, this was an awesome medley. You make truly great arrangements and performances. Editing the clips of yourself performing together must be very time- and labor-intensive...and that's after you do all the performing and arranging! I think you're my new favorite RU-vidr. Lastly, the bit where The Conductor turns around to conduct the viewer with the overworld theme...that actually made me tear up, in a good way. Thanks for that.
