Hello to everyone. Ephesus was an ancient Greek city on the western coast of Anatolia, on the Ionian coast three kilometers southwest of the Selçuk district of today's İzmir province, and later an important Roman city. Ephesus was registered as a World Heritage Site in 2015.
Thanks to the fact that the Selçuk district of İzmir, where it was founded, is one of the most fertile lands in Anatolia, trade routes pass through here, and has a port that connects the east and west of the world, the city is very developed. During this period (2nd-1st century BC), Ephesus became one of the largest metropolises of its time with a population of over 200,000.
In this video, we visited many parts of Ephesus and tried to show you. We were particularly impressed by the public toilets, the Celcus library, the Curetes street and the ancient theatre. :) We enjoyed Ephesus very much, we hope you enjoy watching it too.
