I've seen a few with epoxy resin in voids and cracks in the planks themselves and still using the SS bed strips , only on yours have i seen the live edge with the epoxy between the boards . very nice touch and i bet you are going to start a new trend

You should use “Liquid Glass Deep Pour Epoxy”. This products viscosity is much lower for what your doing and is so much better at producing a bubble free product. Granted their standard deep pour takes 3 days to cure at room temp. They do have a 24hr deep pour, which I haven’t tried, but their deep pour is for 2+ inches. I make wood hookah pieces that need to be bubble free for wood turning, so they don’t shatter during turning them. The liquid glass line from FGCI has always had the best results, even for their standard table top product and less expensive than the other products I have used. It also stands up better to sun exposure, than other products.

These beds take about 110 hours to get a complete installed product. They aren't cheap, but chances are you'll be the only one in your area. They are $4000 to $7000 pending size, materials used, thickness, & delivery charges.

Thank you Chris Meyer my names is James Heinzle That's an amazing price 👏👌 beautifully done I did one of these two years ago on a rat rod trike but I added a twist to it by fractal burning the wood then filled in with epoxy.
