Being an indian i still like Ask the Pavillion most ...i dont remember when was the last time i saw indian sports show. .they are hell melodramatic instead of doing healthy discussion and analysis

This is high quality show on cricket. No other cricket shows come close to it. Unbiased and deep analysis.

This show is far better than any Indian cricket show. No drama no bakwas , simple calm and unbiased conversations here.

I wish ki Vikrant Gupta could organise a show of this high quality in Sports Tak... Lots of regards to Wasim Akram, the best bowler of his generation. We used to watch the trio of Shoaib, Waqar and Wasim for Pak during our childhood days, now we 🇮🇳 have managed to get the current best fast bowling trio in world cricket.

I have watched lots of shows on cricket. But this show is far better... I personally like Misbah ' s analysis... He is absolutely a legend.

I am an Indian. Not a fan of Babar but i really feel for that guy. He has been criticised a lot in this world cup by 'experts' and lots of memes were made on him by public. That man has an average of 40 in this WC with 4 half centuries. You are as good as captain as your team is. Tell me how many runs did Tom Latham or Temba Bavuma made or how many wickets did Pat cummins took? Their team is so good that their captains's performance has been overshadowed by that. Man i know he pakistani but he is a human being too like us. How he would be feeling being in centre of all this? Babar is such a fine batsman. He is just unfortunate that there is a lot of turmoil in their Cricket Board. If he had just left the captaincy and focused on his batting only , it would be easy for him, but he kept it for the sake of the team. IMO one of the biggest sin one can do is to hurt someone's heart.

Our Indian media must learn from this show how be unbiased and realistic

One thing I noticed Pakistan's spin department has become very very weak . They do not have top spinners like sakline mustaq /S. Afridi/ S . Ajmol any more All these current spinners bowled like part time spinners . 😮😮😮

What I feel is that, it was a team Failure.. With Naseem shah's absence, Pakistan's new ball bowlers were average, Spinners were not performing. More often than not, their batsmen collectively failed as a unit. A couple of things we need to understand is that. 1. The best player may not always be the best captain., 2. Even the best captain in the world cannot win matches when the players are not performing to their potential. Captaincy cannot be judged only with results. There are other parameters too to look after, like strategies, decision making, motivation etc. But if the captain is not able to absorb the pressure and his individual performance gets badly affected due to captaincy, it is the time to look for alternates. Babar is one of the best batsmen in the world. It may either be a lean patch due to form out, or may be due to the pressure of captaincy. Only he can answer this. Let PCB, team management , coaches and other stake holders address and analyze the situation and take necessary steps for future.

Heard all sorts of criticism about Babar's captaincy, failure as a team & team management's failure...but it came into media that Pakistani cricketers haven't received their payments for last few months. Is that true? Team performance depends on many factors & and long-term planning, which, of course, isn't there in Pakistsn. Really funny is that PCB gives more weightage on foreign coaches when star coaches are available in their own country...this is really funny😅 Foreign coaches...exception is there though...will make 💰 & go away. Pakistani cricketers , on average, don't have good communication skills in English. This is a real concern, too, as there is never a complete communication between foreign coaches & players. I think PCB is fully responsible for the entire mismanagement & taking Pakistani cricket onto a gloomy future. What's really frustrating is that super talented cricketers like Akram, Sahid Afridi, Waqar Younis,....so many others....are just doing criticism but not confronting PCB & taking the responsibility & challenge on their shoulders. It's very sad to see talents are unutilized & in the long run, this sports will lose its popularity too.

I would say... Babar should have played well.. When captain don't play properly automatically their other players felt under pressure

The current Pakistani team is more of a t20 specialist team.Most of them seem to be more comfortable in that format . Also for a few of the last india vs Pakistan game they seem to be doing well for atleast 20 30 overs and then they loose all composure and concentration

I think there's another factor why Babar and his Team struggled in this World Cup: playing in India's conditions. Unfortunately, for whatever reasons, Pakistan had minimal exposure to Indian pitches compared to other countries. I hope someday, some sense will prevail on both sides and reignite the bilateral series. Good job Team PAK👍

PCB Infrastructure deficiencies increased pressures on Babar. On top of that, they publicly criticised him, isolated him. Plus Bowling been rubbish since Asia Cup and these factors are all responsible not just Babar. As he said nobody called him with advice He is not a programmed robot, plus it’s a team sport. “Team” been AWOL. Don’t witch hunt him but do address all the issues. They need coaches who are present!

Pakistan team doesnt have that intensity they used to have when wasim akram played for pakistan. Todays players arent active like before. India vs Pakistan is no more a rivalry rather than a one way traffic.

Shaheen is just 30% of Wasim Akram, but to continuously draw parallel is a sin. Someone should tell this to Shaheen so that his foot is on ground and head on shoulder. 1990's to this date, Wasim Akram is the best Left arm bowler. Babar shouldn’t be blame alone and be replace. He should continue as captain of Pakistan. He is one of the best batter. He couldn’t perform because of very high pressure in this big tournament.

I think W Akram is not focused on his analysis. Its quite obvious when two questions were asked by VG specifically to WA, after those were read out, within 30-seconds he asks twice what's the question and later answered only captaincy and the question about the bowling getting 3 wickets by the main bowling in 9 matches was ignored. I feel WA is not that much interested nowadays in cricket of Pak. He has just come in for the sake of coming. His answers are so diplomatic that it does not serve any purpose for cricket or his analysis. I think he is worried about the current Military and Shariff Mafia and that is playing on the back of his mind as he is Imran's find and close aide. I think this is happening to all of the Pak citizens where they r in a confusion state with their future and life in Pak.

I think Babar was the captain last year when pakistan made it to the finals of t20 world cup, so saying his captaincy got exposed on bigger platform is wrong. The problem might be the same which india had in 2019 world.

Babar is being scape-goated, granted that he didn't perform up to par but the PCB is a joke of an organization and is to blame for the inconsistencies at the highest level. They need to privatize it and remove all of these political appointments.

Babar has a win rate of approx 63 percent which is very good if u compare other captains. This is indeed lean patch. Bowlers are also good it's just a bad phase. Sometimes it happens. Just look at England.

Siraj and Shami benefit a lot from Bumrah being an absolute menace on the other end and vice versa. Against Pakistan batters can choose to play it safe vs Shaheen because they knew they could whack Rauf on the other end. Naseem has been a massive miss not just for what he brings to the field but also psychologically to his partners in crime.

I really remembered era when Tendulakar was captaining the India long time back. At that time, there was huge pressure on Tendulkar as whole batting depends on him. That time Tendulkar used to bat at no 4. Even though he was batting well, one day suddenly he decided to resign from the captaincy. When he was asked about it, he says Indian team wants batter sachin rather than captain sachin. After that he was promoted to top order and unstoppable as batsman and rest is history. I feel situation some what similar to Babar Azam. What I feel your no 1 batsman should play maxim no of balls. He must open the batting. there is no point in Babar batting at no 3 or 4.

I feel the performance of a team doesn't entirely depend on the form of their captain. Among the 4 semifinalists, Bavuma for Rsa and Cummins for Aus performanced rhe least among the other players. But their teams have qualified quite comfortably, which shows that the team can still do good without their captains being their biggest match winners. With Babar, I think he got starts in almost every match, but failed to convert them into big scores. Considering how the top batters from other teams like Dekcock for Rsa, Virat and Rohit for India, Warner for Australia and Rachin and Mitchell for Nz have performed throughout the world cup, Pakistani fans have every right to be disappointed from the performance of their best batsman..
