Pakistani Legend Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and party perform Lut Gaye (Aankh Uthi Mohabbat Ne Angrai Li), but it's re-arranged in a style that may remind you of Pink Floyd and Iron Maiden. There's even a bass solo somewhere in the middle.
My father loves music but he never like metal music, never ever. For the first time he listened to this song and really appreciated your composition. Later he listened to your other compositions as well and said "This man plays the guitar very well". Thank you Andre for creating these wonderful metal covers. Love from Bangladesh.
I'm no psychologist but he may just want to get to know you. Maybe take interest in what he's into. Just saying, I have no medical background, and am currently having trouble installing StarCraft 2 on my computer.
it's Nusrat's composition dumb duck, he is just following his composition with a guitar. Should avoid talking about stuff you dont understand. understood dumb duck?
Listened a few times while driving home today and it just sounds like this was always how the song was meant to be. Pretty much forgot it was a remix. The bass breakdown! Petition to do all NFAK’s catalogue!

People may find this hard to believe, but the other day I was driving to work when a car pulled up next to me, windows down stereo blasting. The guy was bopping his head up and down and looking at me. I immediately bopped my head a few times, with a grin of approval on my face. There was an instant connection and the man gave me a thumbs up and drove off. What was so amazing about this encounter you ask. The man was of middle eastern appearance. This song was playing on the stereo! 😎😎😎😎
Dear Andre, In indian hindu tradition, Touching someones feet is regarded as the highest form of respect shown to some one. I want to touch your feet to show my respect towards you for all your NFAK songs. You making him relive. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Nusrat was to collaborate with Madonna when he died few months earlier in 1997. His music was getting international attention when he died. He has even sung soundtrack of a Hollywood movie in 90's. His must be among the greatest singers the world has ever seen.
I.Cannot. Believe. This 😮 Listening to the original (!) I just cannot fathom the amount of blood, sweat and tears that must have gone into this. I mean, c'mon: it's not only rearranged, and put some chords over it, and call it a day. No - ma man Andre turned it into a MAIDEN-like song, so meticiously performed ... internet, I stand in awe! The day we make contact with aliens, Andre would be my ambassador for humanity of choice. He is a perfect example to what we can live up to! I tip my hat sir!
I never get tired of the fusion of talent between this man and everything he mixes. The fact that he can listen to other talent, hear something else, then put the two together is astounding!
This is synergy par excellence, never had thought that i would ever enjoy listening pakistani music :) Incredible stage performance, although they are "just" sitting :D
When I saw your first reinterpretation of NFAK I thought "let's hope that this doesn't hurt any feelings in the countries of origin of this music and poetry". It's such a pleasure to read all the positive comments from folks in Pakistan, India and neighbouring countries! It confirms that music has no boundaries! Your harmonization choices are brilliant.
I think people in US are the only ones that get offended by anything for the most part. Especially since everything became about politics. People that don’t travel outside of the US to other countries do not understand how respectful and genuine people are in other parts of the world. And I’m not talking about the tourists areas.
I remember seeing a ridiculous post video of Americans being offended to puss from the "puss in the boots the last wish" reintrepeted and sketched as a ginger man...Latinos started revolting saying 'you gringos think we font have white skinned ginger here?'
I'm a Pakistani metalhead and I fucking love it. The solo is out of this world. I sometimes wondered what nusrat fateh ali khan songs would sound like if Metallica or Megadeath played with him and his peers and Andre has brought us closer to that than anyone could.
It's funny but thanks to Andre I started listening to master Nusrat and have progressed so far that I've known this song's original version before actually hearing this cover 🙌🙌🙌
Holy monkey!!! I'm not sure which one I'm more impressed by. The exquisitely tasteful guitar & bass licks, or the fact that this song drifts in tempo like 30bpm (based solely on the enthusiasm of the vocalists) and you manage to hold it all together. I've been a musician all my life (though arguably not that successfully) and I recognize how difficult from a compositional standpoint that had to be. You blow me away with your mad skills, dude. Keep it up because it's garnering huge attention & much respect from us wannabees.
The tempo drifts are actually a lot easier to adjust to when that's how you've been raised your entire life. I've been playing tabla quite literally my entire life, and tempo and pace changes are a central part of desi music.
If I search for this kind of music, what genre should I search for? I've heard some don't even have lyrics, is more like "playing" with voice or something like that.
@joca1378 hello, thanks for your question. Search for any of the following: - Qawwali -Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan - Pakistan qawwali - Coke Studio - Sufi music - Qawal live performance Enjoy 💙
Why are the breakdowns in the middle of your remixes always so epic? Those bass and guitar solos were unbelievable. Also - the melody of the chorus is absolutely infectious. Gonna be stuck in my head for days. Love this track so much
lyricsnusratsahib.blogspot.com/2016/12/unki-nazron-ne-kuch-aisa-jaado-kiya.html?m=1 The lyrics translated in English. RU-vid wouldn't let me post the text here because there's a "valid argument"? Not sure what that means.
He sings about a spiritual love between god and man and man and woman too "Raised my eyes and love yawned And I sold my heart under the crescent moon" This is the first line that he repeats. You can google translations for this it is very well documented.
Her eyes cast quite a magic on me That I was robbed of my heart in the first meeting These are very rough translations so take them with a grain of salt
In 30 years of my life i have listen to the original song and appreciated it always. Today i stumbled upon this channel and the artist, after listening to this, it gave me goosebumps. Keep up your hard work. This artist needs to be commended👍👍👍
I first heard of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan when he sang on Peter Gabriel's song, "Signal to Noise". I was blown away by his power and passion. This is seriously a great accompaniment! It's so good. Kudos!!❤❤❤
I need this in spotify so that I can keep on listening to the full tracks played by Andre. Just awesome! Words can't explain how awesome all of the track's sound.
I'm loving these "east meets west" fusions. I'm discovering a lot of singers I would never know about otherwise. You are doing amazing work, and I hope you continue to touch on the classic music of other cultures around the world (Javier Solis comes to mind).

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is respected and regarded one of the best singer in Indian subcontinent. But i have never imagined that metal touch could be given to such songs, you're really talented man👏👏🙏🙏❤️❤️
What a beautiful rendition!!!!An absolute justice done without offending the original genre...What really captured my attention was the bass guitar part...such a powerful part...slapping it...I was head banging to it! Loved the guitar solo as well...Blown away ....
Love from India , for me the best things are 1. I can watch original videos of NFAK sir and 2. The compositions are as good as Original rendition . I am born in 1983 an di have experienced the golden musical era of 90s and i can say these versions by Andre are up there with the best of the best remixes . Good Going .
Those 4:08 kind of lungs that haven't been touched by COVID-19... Now more serious, what a crazy and amazing 'vocal riff' Nusrat invented there! 🥵 Criatividade e produção incríveis, como é habitual, André. Obrigado 🙌
SENSEI NUSRAT THE GREATEST male VOCALIST in MUSIC History. THE World hás been mucho sadder without him. Thanks for this gift,SENSEI André.👏🏼👏🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🔥🇧🇷🏴🖤
Are you a Blood Preassure Machine? Because you get my pulse everytime Andre. DAMMMNNNNNNNNNNNNN.. I have a seprate playlist of you. P.S- Roy Boy (Husband Calling) is my Favourite.
