Legendary Toys LT02 (KO MPM Optimus Prime): EmGo's Transformers Reviews N' Stuff 

I understand that KO makers are suppose to be "scummy" since they steal designs from the actual creators but when they are rather consistently improving those figures and giving them a better paint job its hard not to cave.

The fact that the KO has a silver paint job instead of the MPM's matte gray sells it for me.

This thing looks great, but you gotta give credit to Hasbro for the overall fantastic design

Leave it to China to make an inexpensive and improved KO of an MP yet again. Crazy how a few years ago "Knockoff" was synonymous with poorer quality, now they're actually improving on the original toys. As an owner of Infinite Transformation's MP Megatron, it's wonderful. Great review Emgo!

Emgo I'm happy you continue to review knockoffs and this one is amazing it seems to lessen the "darn it Factor" of the official mold and it looks better in every possible way. My mind is blown

lol the Knockoff has better paint and is cheaper. Original MSRP is $139.99 and KO is $79.99

It’s always easier to improve on an existing something than make something from scratch. So thanks Hasbro for contributing in making this KO

As someone who owns this figure. It's blood perfect for what I want out of mpm. But that's just my opinion. Thanks em go for making me buy this.

Wow! I have to own one of these. I just can't believe the absolute amazing level of realisem and detail in both robot and truck mode. And the fact that it transforms so well amazes me too. I personally think the transformation is perfect, because I love complicated transformers. Now, being a truck enthusiast, there are a couple things I'd like to nit pick apon, but I'm not gonna, because I'm so amazing with this piece. Like I said before, after watching this video, I have to own one now.

Definitely not a fan of Bayformers Prime (even though I am even less of a fan of BW version), but I am glad and amazed that a knockoff is an improvement over the official version. lol

Never purchased the originals but got this guy and couldn’t be happier!! I did get the white and blue version just thought it looked awesome and I don’t usually get studio series. Mainly stick with G-1 but this guy just screamed buy me now! Again thanks for the awesome reviews. Glad we have someone out there brave enough to make the purchase so we know what to expect.

Wow almost every details is changeable...

I think that version has a cool realistic color like Optimus Prime on Transformers movie. The detail of this version are more interesting and some parts are now painted.

This knock-off is a major improvement over the original due to better paint, more smug joints, and the transformation of it working better than the original one. But that was until Wei Jiang and Black Apple teamed up and upscale and add some improvements to make it look better.

Emgo it looks like u will have to go for a 5th attempt of buying this mold since wei jiang will be releasing their version sometime later on & im sure u'll get it cuz the best transformers reviewer (in my opinion). Look forward to see it when u have it

having all those primes you can even swap the die cast feet pieces to get the autobot logo

Something I don't like about his figure is that it doesn't have the faded orange on the front with the flames, it only has it on the sides where the tires are. But the rest is good

Why is it that Third Party Companies always do it better

The figure looks good. But I urge you to keep it robot mode. The figure is not for extensive play. I broke his foot while transforming it. There was a plastic that was holding the diecast part and it just broke. My 90$ just got blown up and I dont want that to happen to you guys

Thank you EmGo for your review. I recently consider buying one of MPM-04, and MB-17, and MB-11. As a Chinese, I used to avoid KO version since their quality control was not on par with Hasbro's. So my first choice was going for Japanese or US. version. I kept this way until one of my friends told me that he got a Wei Jiang version of Optimus prime and he showed me that KO version actually had higher quality not long ago. As far as I know, most of KO manufactures in China don't make replication any more. They are trying to make better ones like more paints, more joints, adding metal parts, and even redesign some figures. I have checked their SNS and they actually gather feedback from buyers and their supporters and fix problems over iterations. I just bought a LT02 and I think I will probably preorder UniqueToys' new Optimus figure since there are some bonus come with preorder.

My broke Emgo. On closer inspection the hinge to the front wheel hand been super glued back in place. A real bad case of Qc. Shame because I really like the figure.

My own opinion this figure is definitely worth buying It looks better and its price is lesser than the original sure its weapons are a bit goofed but whats really important is the figure than the weapons and if your still annoyed about the sword you can buy the upgrade kit of the mpm 4 optimus which BensKOcollectibles reviewed which is so cool and even its for the original mpm 4 optimus since it is KO its the same just the color is different so its definitely a truly a masterpeice optimus

I have the official release but I’m highly considering buying this, not only is it cheaper than the official’s retail price, but with all the improvements it’s very hard to resist, I believe this would look very good with the Mr Bucket weapons, plus I can have him dual wielding his original guns

Your review of this won me over! I'm gonna be getting this to replace my ageing ROTF Buster Prime. Looks really good and the mold looks to be a big improvement over the already good mold of the old ROTF Leader Prime. They made it better. The only I'll miss on this one is the lack of chrome grill like on the Buster Prime.

The colors of the blue and the red are better on the official but the "detail" paint on this is better

Man I hope you review Unique Toys UT-R02 Challenger (AOE/TLK Optimus Prime), EMGO. From the videos I've seen so far, it looks as clean as UT's Lockdown.

Seems to me that the KOs like this one is on par or far better than Takara or Hasbro had to offer.

Apart from lacking the gradient on the hood, the colors on the KO looks more Movie accurate than the Official version.

I just got my oversize LS03 Optimus Prime yesterday from eBay last night at 9 PM, much better than LT02 and with a good quality. I would highly recommend you to get the LS03 Prime on either Amazon or eBay. Transforming him into a truck is easy, but transforming him to his robot mode is hard. Just a good challenge and I really enjoy it!
